Good thing about these speakers is they are much nicer to play over them when they are yapping.. RTi can only go so loud before they started to hurt, Signatures are much nicer.

I agree with the others, keep the contrast, looks nice like that. If you feel a need to paint something....there's always the mother in-law.
I agree the more I look at it the more I like the contrast.
Painting the mother in-law hmm now there is an idea, no I have to sleep sometime. Actually she likes the sound of the new speakers. Wife still has not said if she likes them.

Hi I just got the new S20 and they sound great and I'm using them as my front speakers. what I want to know is how would the CSI A6 work with them or do I have to go and buy the s30 and is the S30 better then the a6 -
in the brief time I had my CSi5 before I sold it I tried it with my S60... no, no, no. it was way off from the Signatures. I would go with the S30, S35 or TSX250C.
I have my bedroom setup with S20 and use a TSX250C and it sounds pretty good. I was thinking of swapping the S30 for the TSX but I don't want to mess with the matching sound stage.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

The CSI A6 was designed and timbre matched for the RTI A series. Using it with the signature series may localize it, causing an emphasis on the center channel.
The idea of the front three is to blend them and create a coherent sound stage. Not all of the dialogue, for instance is assigned to the center channel. It could be as low as 60 percent in a given scene.
In the case of using the signature series for your left/right mains, the S-30 will give you better performance than the CSI A6.
When I tried to match my CSi5 with the S60 it didn't sound just right. I was off even after running Audyssey. S30 might not have 6.5" drivers but it went right in seamless. The TSX250C I have in the bedroom HT matches the S20 better than the CSi3 did too.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

So I have a pair of S55's and an SVS 12" sealed sub, and am looking at either the S30 or S35. I already run the crossovers at 100hz, So i cant see the low end effecting TOO much, but i'm not really sure honestly. I am aware of the obvious physical differences between the two speakers, but my general logic would say "bigger speakers are better speakers". any opinion on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Size is not really an issue for this setup, but the room is smaller, and i was thinking it might make for a more pronounced stereo imaging if the center channel wasn't spread out as far horizontally.
These look great, and from the many comments, most seem to really like them.
Just wondering, what if any current speaker series will be put out to pasture?
