Hi guys- Newbie here and interested in the Signature series. I have a Denon AVR-s720 7.2 receiver rated at 75W per channel (8ohm, 20Hz-20kHz,THD:0.08% 2 channel driven). How well will the receiver drive the signature series speakers? Will I run any risk of clipping? I'm thinking of starting off in a 3.1 setup and maybe upgrade to 5.1 in the future.
Right now, I'm thinking buying a pair of either S-20 or S-15 bookshelf speakers plus an S-35 center channel speaker.
Will my receiver handle the requirements for these speakers or will I need to upgrade my amp?
Appreciate any help. Thanks -

now for the 7-10 day wait. bummer they don't drop ship from Polk. I would have them by Thursday, Adorama said they ship from NY. Polk is right around the corner in Vista.
S60 will replace my RTi8
S30 will replace my CSi-5
S20 will replace my RTi4 in the bedroom HT
Which would my best choice for center S30, TSX250C, CSI-3 or CSI5? I am going to start with the S30 as center for the S60 and the TSX250C as the center for the S20.
any other config thoughts? When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Would it be possible to get images like this of each speaker in Polks current line (including the LSiM's).
It might be helpful going forward when folks are debating between floorstanding models and looking to see how they differ internally (if at all)"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I know I've seen a cut-away view of either a 705 or 707 before, though neither product page has it.

I dont disagree with you, however folks talk often about things like how the LSiM 707's midrange section is not the same as the LSiM 703's due to the differences in internal space available to the midrange driver, and how that affects the sound ever so slightly.
Being able to discern that via pictures and not have to dive deep into a forum might be nice."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

So far these S60 are hitting the sweet spot and I just got them. It's normal for when I listen to music grandma gets her potato self off the couch and goes to her room. I played Scorpions moment of glory and she kicked back and listened to it. So far the wife has not gone into witch mode.
I did turn off Audyssey and flipped the switch on the sub off for Rush 2112. Put my Marantz SR5010 in pure direct mode. Bass was nice tight highs did not want to make my ears bleed at all. I like this CD for testing, it goes all over the place from hair metal rocking to nice soft waterfall with some acoustic added in.

Amen.
The late Allen Wright designed and sold a (rather nice, actually) solid state phono preamp under the brand name JLTi: Just Listen To it.

Not insult you or Polk, but to me it says generic crossover parts, MDF and minimal damping.

Tough business indeed.
I think for forum members it's cool to see stuff like that, but I think for the average consumer it's better to just show them the money shots.Political Correctness'.........defined

I have not read this thread all the way thru however my Wife has a I Phone 6, Daughter I Phone something, cant remember..My Mom has the I Phone too, I have a Samsung S6 Edge + (the only Android holdout) And we all have different covers...Everyone likes their own colors, accessory's and what not. Now, if a speaker could be changed by buying accessory items for a price would we not have a modern speaker that could be changed old school or to whatever else we may desire at any given ? Just a thought while reading. -
