He's not crazy about snow or cold.
I mention this because he can be used to tell the temperature. If the wood stove's cranked up, and its very warm in their living room, he's splayed out on the futon. As it cools, he coils up, tighter and tighter, as the temperature drops.
I have a rescue Blue Tick. Laziest dog ever, sleeps 16 hrs. a day. She doesn't like cold weather either, only problem is cleaning her floppy ears which get really nasty. You just couldn't ask for a lower maintenance dog. Gotta love their howl! -
Yeah, Sully's ears have the same issue; design flaw I suppose. I wonder if there'll be a recall?
He is a very nice dog -- I really like him. He is completely nonlinear about big trucks and motorcycles, though. He goes nuts when either goes by. Must have been some trauma in his past life.
