We're kind of semi-seriously looking at one of these
(a manual though, not an auto)

@mhardy6647,
I use a John Deere 4400 Compact Utility Tractor (35 hp, 28 hp pto) with a commercial 60" snowblower to clear our driveway and "turnaround" in front of our house. The driveway is about 450' long and the "turnaround" area is around 50' x 70'. I have a mid-mount 60' mower with a leaf collector, a 72" front-end loader, a front blade, and a 55 gal. drum sprayer. It's great and essential to maintain our site (~38 A.)
Even with last night's snow fall (about 14" here on the NH seacoast), I cleared it all in about an hour.
When I purchased the tractor and implements, I looked at the Kubotas, and at that time I couldn't get a front-mounted snowblower. The wife of the Kubota dealer told my wife that when her husband returned from clearing snow with the rear-mounted snowblower, he was always covered in snow. That made my wife say we were going for the JD. That was over 15 years ago, many snow storms ago, and I'm really glad I got the front-end snowblower.
After buying stereo equipment, buying a tractor comes in as a close second for entertainment.

Yeah, I know about the rear mounted snowblower.
One of the main reasons for the tractor is for skidding logs for firewood -- their property is fairly rugged (it's beautiful, in fact) and it's gonna take a pretty beefy tractor.
Their farmer-neighbor has a small 4WD Deere (probably similar to yours, maybe a little smaller). He's bailed them/us out using it a few of times when we've gotten in over our heads with something
-
@mhardy6647,
The Kubota is definitely beefier than my JD.
Looks like a good machine.
Two other factors that proved to be important to me was the ease of installing and removing implements and the ease of service, as well as the clarity of service instructions. I do virtually all my own service and "seasonal" transitions.
I have mixed feelings about the JD's characteristics in both regards. For example: something as simple as draining and flushing the radiator was such a hassle because of the location of the petcock, that I finally jury-rigged my own specialty tool to loosen and tighten it. Before I did so, it took more time to loosen and tighten the petcock than it took for the remainder of the process.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. FWIW, my lawn tractor is a John Deere -- not a Home Despot grade one, though
I am told by its original owner (who happens to have been our erstwhile pastor in MA) that it was recommended to him by the then head of the trustees at our church (who, it turns out, was a JD fanboy of some magnitude). It is said to be among the last of the "real" JD lawn tractors.
I mean -- my pastor wouldn't lie to me, right?

Warm & gorgeous weekend in Northern NH -- sunset tonight was (briefly) spectacular. I barely caught a photo of it (it faded fast).

Thanks a lot buddy. Sadie was my first car. I've had her for 13 years and some odd months now, Lots of blood sweat and tears in her, she is far far from perfect but a fantastic car to just cruise around. Won't win any car shows but man is it a hoot to cruise around, weather is getting nicer so the garage won't be so cold, guess it is time to make some progress. I reckon it will take me a solid 4-6 weeks of work to complete and get back on the road. Problem is I have taken on lots of little projects along the way including some small rust repairs in the floorboards, and completely repainting the interior.
I am finally on shore duty now, so I have a few years to get her exactly how I want her before I go back to sea. Problem is now is also the ideal time to really drive her a ton

This is my buddy's car, his dad had a little fender bender on the way to the hospital....now it belongs to him...Glad his dad kept it!

Not what I wanted to come home and park on... -
devil-car.
Make sure it's parked and the brake set before walking in front or behind it
-
Screw that... drive it around the block once or thrice! If it doesn't jump to 667, get out and run.

Wow....all of our white stuff no longer exists.
Buy the 721 in the background. Move more snow faster than the orange Bota. Smart investment too!Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
The snow's mostly gone here, too. It is in the sixties outside (albeit windy).
We're looking for a tractor more for ag use and skidding logs (in the daughter & son-in-law's case). I don't think the big yellow thing would be that great for threading a path up into the woods
-
The daughter & son-in-law are across the river looking at a used JD now. I decided not to tag along for that trek, but they did send some pix.
