great photograph.

Thanks, Mark!
The Cattle Egret and Blue Heron take second shift in the chow line. I'm always amazed ANY fish survive the dry season onslaught of our relatively small lake (2 acres). But, come Spring, it will be teeming with small fry again.

Our farmer-neighbors have a good-sized pond, so we get some strays sometimes, too
(I know I posted this before, but this seemed like a good excuse to post again)

I concur wholeheartedly.
although I have a feeling that, were I sitting in it, I'd start thinkin' of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

That "thing" on the roof... looks like a valve in an engine.

My back yard with a few more inches of fresh snow

yeah mine looks kind of thus, as well. Didn't actually take a photo today -- although the trees were nicely frosted with snow. Still are, actually (but now it's gettin' kind of dark).

Got a nice stretch coming up. 20's to mid 40's. This year (so far) & last year have so far been the easiest winter's I've seen in my time...

Haven't even started the snowblower yet (aside from the beginning of the season tuning). All i got yesterday was the sleet. Little slick in the morning but my commute didn't look like it was full of drivers from the southern statesWhere’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
I don't think this winter's finished with us yet, boys.
On other fronts -- heh. Watch this space.

But they's coiled at different spots. Why don't you just fire up an unshielded magnatron up next to yer spikkers?

Maybe -- just maybe-- there's a superconducting NMR magnet in the garage

oh, the stands -- they're dump finds from years back; Canadian-made, branded "Plateau".,
They're a bit flimsy compared to real Polkstands but they're quite adequate for smallish loudspeakers. They were easier to grab tonight (than the Polkstands that are upstairs, but buried a little deeper in the substratum) when I pulled out the Monitor 5 family members for the test run. -
If you could, tidy up the pulls on the shades.Home Rig
