Yes you are correct, I use drag radials for the street. Mods are intake, cams, lots of suspension changes, exhaust, 4.56 gears, line lock, 2 step for launching, etc... . Bought it new in 2003 and kept adding stuff til I got her in the 11's. Not bad for a street/strip car!

@mhardy6647,
Not as spectacular as some you have posted, but it was a pretty nice sunset over Lake Opechee on 8 June.
I missed the "prime time" shot by a few minutes. I couldn't get out of a meeting that I was attending quickly enough to get the best shot.

Looks like a great spot, how's the fishing? -

Good to hear, you're a lucky man to have a spot like that. We owned a couple of lake property over the years but they don't hold a candle to what you have..
Congrats and enjoy -

I'll bet that the bass get huge-mongous down there, too. One is most jealous.
(and, come to think of it, it's been years since I've gone bass fishing) -
Hate me more. Sad to go home to 55 degrees tomorrow.

I'll meet you at Sea-Tac...then I will lay upon you an asswhipping of Biblical proportion. Steal all your duty free loot and make lascivious comments to the missus.
Then walk away like nothing ever happened. -

What you see here is a SWARM of mayflies around a portable mast light.
This was taken near the Mississippi River a couple of nights ago.
Suprisingly, the little critters don't taste too bad.....

not a picture, so much as a video, detailing my sketch process on a pair of headphones. I'll have to post one for a speaker... maybe once the next series releases :-)

Michael - Your sketches are incredible! (I watched a few of your other videos.) Love the Audi TT sketch. Thanks for sharing!!

That was cool and it is obvious that you are very talented. I like the Jeru remix too! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. I love what I do! Getting to design things everyday, while not easy, is rewarding. Especially so when you all enjoy the end product. When you have critical feedback I look at is as great information to design it better next time. The most difficult part is keeping everything in balance. We always have design and engineering goals which we have to balance out with cost, retailer and sales feedback, and the practical realities of manufacturing. Walking that line and pushing the boundaries of the expected is part of what makes it a fun challenge. One of the founders of the industrial design profession, Raymond Loewy, used to strive for what he called the MAYA, the Most Advanced Yet Acceptable solution. That is how I guide our team.
