Babyback ribs turned out pretty darn good today.

Solid "8.5" from the family panel of judges (and they are tough on me!).

    Ribs-10-3-15.jpg

Best pieces were darn near perfect for smoke, flavor profile, and tenderness.

I like how this was posted after your shot of the bobcat...a before and after

Aw..c'mon now...that cut little bobcat was kinda scrawny - not a bit o' meat on dem bones.

Although, our neighborhood watch/forum has spotted a pair of bobcats recently and someone just posted that one of their chickens got nabbed yesterday by a bobcat.

"Mash up" of a couple different commercial rubs - then some add'l spices and brown sugar.

It's rare that I'll smoke a cigar and have a strong drink like that! But, it has to be done to keep your sanity!!

In Northern New England, Columbus Day weekend is the peak of the leaf-peeper season. It's not most locals' favorite time of year (except for the influx of tourist dollars)... but the weather, and the leaves, rarely fail to please.

Here's what it's like at my house this weekend -- subtitle: fun with a circular polarizer :- )
