Just now - bobcat jumped up onto my fence from the open space preserve behind my house. Pretty cool!

haven't seen "our" bobcat all summer, now that you mention it.
The one above looks kinda lean -- not sure I'd be pleased to see one that close to the house (although we sometimes get bears that close... yay).

Babyback ribs turned out pretty darn good today.
Solid "8.5" from the family panel of judges (and they are tough on me!).
Best pieces were darn near perfect for smoke, flavor profile, and tenderness.
