Look nice but $600 is hard to get whether local or ebay even with "high" quality "Dayton" caps.

Even at $600 ebay, subtract 15% for ebay and PP fees that comes down to $510 with risk of shipping damage, fear of buyer's complains etc...

True, but as I am sure you have done, when it comes to CL list above what you "really" want so you can let the buyer beat you up and feel like "they" won, when in fact you still got what you expected...

So he listed for 600, who said he wouldnt take 500 cash local pickup? Cant hurt to ask...

Plus I dont know how often if ever these particular models come up looking that nice.

I've physically seen 2 sets in say 4 years, and one set was brought from WI down here, the other from Iowa here to trade for SDA 2.3TL's. Both sets from forum members....

Thats not a lot, so you can expect to pay a premium due to rarity.....

Yes but general consensus here is SDA-1C's are better than 15TL's and $600 is on the high side even for 1C's.
Rarity is one thing but sound is what we are after.
If someone is looking for them, good deal though.

I've seen few 15TL's here in past few years and even at $390 (another pair was much less), they were kinda cold for weeks.
Granted they were not pristine but were in pretty decent condition.

Well - the deed is indeed done! All drivers seem to be working - no interconnect cable with them unfortunately. Pin/Blade and the driver setup leads me to conclude definitely late model SDA1c?

Without connector I paid $230 for the set. Wood caps, loose side panel but really very pristine overall. Super excited to hear them for real.

There should be a warrant out for your arrest. You STOLE THEM at that price.

I would have jumped but no room.
    Hope someone here got them.

Yeah, I almost went to look at them. I probably have my fair share of SDAs though, so I figured I'd let someone else have a crack at them. :-) Although, those would have been my first set of 1.2TLs...

Anyone in SC.? Charleston to be more exact. POLK SDA 2 SPEAKERS

    http://charleston.craigslist.org/ele/4611133550.html

    Sellers description

I am finally letting go of my Polks. They are incredible speakers. Polk installed new speakers and crossovers in them about 15 years ago. They have been well taken care of. A couple dings on the back corners. Original patch cord . I will consider delivering to Florence, Charleston, Wilmington for 50.00. Call me with any questions.

Curious about a couple other components. Dual TT's? Those are suppose to be really good aren't they? SAE Amps? I have heard of SAE but know nothing. Anyone care to derail the tread and educate me? ;)

SDA II listed on Raleigh's CL for $100. No affiliation, unless of course I buy them.

    http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ele/4619792981.html

But there's my question. Don't know much about SDA's and this seems too good to be true. I can't keep up with all the SDA models. Are the SDA II a lower end iteration?

Do the twin tweeters smear the image, do the mids have to be balanced between SD and non-SD. Thanks for the insight.
