    Three sides are better than two if the music is good. Johnny didn't have enough for side four but he couldn't let go of what he recorded. Strange but true according to Wikipedia.

    rednedtugent, you're playing some good stuff Maynard. By the way, you know the story behind that Johnny Winter Austin, Texas album? Has other names, Progressive Blues Experiment, recorded live in a small place in Austin, but without the crowd, I think the band was all standing around in a circle during the recording, maybe, and some recordings have a crowd noise added later. IIRC, was done right before he got famous... What a great album.

    redned: If you like JW and blues, check out Muddy Waters Hard Again. JW produced it; he idolized MW (and MW called JW his son.) Really good blues album with good SQ.

    Oh yes dromunds, I had that LP before I stupidly got rid of all of them.:cry:
    I guess I got sick of moving them around and not playing them.
    I dropped some off w/ an old girlfriend and the rest are scattered to
    the winds. :sad: this was maybe 1991...

    Hey Rick, that Knopfler/Atkins is a good album. Funny, it was one of those examples where the first time I heard it I was like, "What is this crap?" Then a few years later I was playing alot of Knopfler (which I like to do from time to time) and decided to play it again, and I loved it. Go figure.
