Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Great 'anthology' of Rush's work - not bad sounding on CD either.

Yep. aka Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. I gather your talking about Ronstadt, yaeh it's sad. Never really got into her myself. Only into a few female vocalists. Here's one.
    Concrete Blonde: Mexican Moon.

Yep Peter Green...Jeremy Spencer...first time I heard anyone get into Concrete Blonde on here...What do ya think of Bloodletting? How about Divinyls....been into Linda since 70 or so....sad

Loved it when I first heard it. Bloodletting is a great album but I got tired of it rather quickly. I'm sure others will disagree, a little to pop oriented for my taste. Never heard of Divinyls ( Will be checking them out now ) And another female singer.
    Marianne Faithfull: Broken English.

Hey Red, I got that Klaatu album to review when it came out and absolutely loved it. Still have the Promo copy. Wasn't the hype at the time that they were the reformed Beatles? Paul not dead, indeed. Real good choice.
