I just want to let everyone know that I have tried all of your black paint suggestions for my wood and nothing seems to help. Sanding between coats was a real pain as well.

Believe it or not I am actually in the market for some black paint this week for concrete footers to place some speakers on. Anyone know who makes black concrete footer paint in a textured flat finish??

I think he’s completely clueless about diy? Black paint and what’s it going to be used for indoors/outdoors is it for paint loudspeaker enclosures or decorating the living room for the home theater walls?

Oven/BBQ black paint from Lowes... it has a higher temperature rating than engine enamel and stays on better. Oh, and it's cheaper.

What's that? You don't care about performance? You only care about looks? You only want brand name black paint?

OK... I think there is some black paint called "Monster Black," or you might try its competitor, BOSEBlac.

Hey that pretty funny. This guy is no troll. Welcome to the Polk forum my friend.

Happened to wander over to the car section to see what you peoples do over here and ...... well .......

Buddy of mine told me of a paint that must be pretty special; it's a black magic paint. Only available over in England from what I gather.

    Black magic paint.jpg

    http://www.idealworld.tv/Black_Magic_Paint_-_2.5_Litre_Tin_@bCovers_approx_28_Square_Metres@c_156102.aspx

Kind of expensive, though. ?38.99 for a 2.5 liter can.
    That works out to ....... oh ...... $647.84 a gallon I think.

From what I understand, the can is made of tin, the only metal known capable of holding the magical properties of this paint.

This may be what the OP was looking for ?

    Listen,

I don't know what you tree-shrubs have been up to in my absence, but let me make this very clear: I will not tolerate false advertisement of Asian Hookers.

After going through the trouble of re-enabling my account / re-setting my password (as I've long forgot what the hell it was), I sit here greeted by nothing - no Hookers, of the Asian variety or otherwise.

Call me when the situation on the Asian Hooker front improves.

Until then, as always - the Oracle of Useless and Pointless Knowledge,
