Wow...are people still bitching about this forum? Who cares? It's fine the way it is.

I, for one, find the almost total freedom of speech on here to be refreshing. You're able to say whatever you want for the most part here, where as you really don't have that freedom on a lot of other forums.

It seems like every month or so, a new member joins up and tries to tell us how to make this VERY SUCCESSFUL message board "better". I don't see many people crying out for things to be changed though.

I'd love to see another forum do what this forum and subsequent company does for its membership. It doesn't exist and you can bet money on that.

Jesus ( I hate using the Lord's name in vane) I just read this whole thread ugh!

Why is it that every so often a new guy comes in here (and is warmly welcomed) , reads a couple of threads, posts some remarks that are disputed and then wants to go off on a diatribe about how bad this forum is and needs more moderation?

WE DON'T SUFFER FOOLS LIGHTLY!!! That's why this place works so well. The trouble makers get weeded out 99% of the time.

I can add one more thing to the many positives noted in this thread. People here are willing to help out newbies and long standing members with FREE or greatly discounted products. It may not be blatantly obvious as there are whole lot of things going on behind the scenes.

Jax I recommend you stop trying to be the Club Polk savior . . . it's been tried and has always failed miserably because this place runs just fine without it and the moderators do a fine job of keeping this place a fun and great experience.

Also as Mark noted there are some changes coming and I am confident that they will be well thought out and make the this awesome club all the better.

    ^ I agree. If it ain't broke.....

I am still new here, don't know ****. But I listen to what I am told! And you are right! Ken (polkersince85) gave, yes gave me a set on Monitor 10's and a HK power amp! All he wanted was gas money, which was $20! I gave him $40 and he didn't want to take that! That is just something that doesn't happen often in the world today! I'd probably still be a Polk virgin if it wasn't for meeting him on this forum.

When someone doesn't hear what they wanna hear to their question. Or they can't stand that the world does not view things their way. They **** about everyone and everything else in life.

Jax, who are you to come to a very established forum and **** about the mods needing to be replaced and not doing there jobs? You really think you are going to gain respect that way?
