All packed up and ready to leave about 6 AM. Got everything in my sig. with me plus the TSi 500's, but I couldn't fit the Monitor 40's, our daughter is going with us now and she will be sleeping in the back seat on the way there. She won't be at the meet, she will be staying with a friend of my wife's. See you guys there.

I just got a new class T amp in, so I'll throw that in with the class A integrated. Let me tell you, there is nothing similar about those amps...

Sorry but I won't be making the meet. Wife fell and hurt her back and needs me home to help. One more thing on top of her other health issues.

Thanks Jake for hosting the gathering. Fun was had by all. No strippers. Got to listen to lots of music and gear. It was good to meet so many of the fellow polk fanatics. The passive pre and adcom 535 with the monitor 5 setup was the star of the show. The raffle prizes were great. Thanks AL and Polk Audio for the extra icing on the cake. Lightman wins the prize for traveling the the greatest distance to listen to some speakers. I think jetlag was the prize! It was fun and will have to be done again!

I'd have loved to have been there but I still have that can't cross the border thing hanging over me. In the last picture of everyone at the meet, on the far right side is Geoff727 who is the craftsman who lovingly and painstakingly rebuilt my SDA-1C's and the result was what is probably the best 1C's in all the land. Too bad I couldn't be there to thank him again in person.

Had a great time too guys. Finally heard some SDA's, now I know what all the ruckus is about. Very impressive and they were the little guys. Love to get my ears on some of the Big Dogs someday. Oh and Lightman had pants on the WHOLE TIME!! :D Thanks to the OP for starting this out (where the hell did he go?) and to Jake for putting it all together!

    Here's a few pic's that I took-

Well, now I'm kind of motivated to get ahold of another set of Polk Audio's and fix them up for next year's get-together. I wish I'd had something to bring this time. I didn't realize how much I missed my Monitor 5's.

It was definitely a good time. And a big thanks to Jake for 'administrating the system', swithing speakers/transports/amps/DAC's around.

I hope we can do this again next year (with more hours and more speakers!).

Thanks, Kelvin. I was wishing you could have come. The -1C's are still plugging away, I take it?

Had a great time as well. Although it is true that Russ had pants on the whole time, we did find out that somebody had loose nuts!

Thanks to Jake for offering the place and the food. Thanks to Polk for the generosity.

Good to see some familiar faces again, and good to meet everyone else. Let's not wait so long to do it again.
