Had some of those killer Pacific Shrimp Tacos from Toxic Hell for lunch!

But dinner is better! A friend put his boat in the water last weekend during the warm weather and took the newly rebuilt engine out for a run today to go wave hopping on the wake of the storm that just pushed out to sea this morning. He never leaves without poles and a herring trap. Well, I just got word from him that he was off on the reefs and hit a feeding school of blues. Pulled in six 12-14 pound fish. It's too early to get juveniles so they are big adults. But he's coming up this afternoon and I told my dad to meet him at the house and fire up the smoker.

So tonight, we feast on Bluefish, baked potatoes, corn bread and spinach salad!

They sure are, simple fixings, love the bread. One of those things I crave once in awhile. There are fancier subs at other establishments, but JJ's just hits the spot!
