Grilled Hebrew National hot dogs covered in home made sauerkraut, raw onions and Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard. Washing it down with a Yuengling Traditional Lager.
Lunch was good too. Grilled Prosciutto with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella and a pesto spread on fresh ciabatta bread with a side of sweet potato fries and the biggest Gold Peak lemon iced tea they had.
Effin yummy!!! You eat good man! I had to take an extra heartburn medicine pill just reading your post.:D -

You're lucky. All the store shelves in this area are EMPTY! -

Yeah... luckily i didn't need:
Kroger brand tortilla chips and/or salsa, or more than one bottle of "Simply Apple."
Everything else seemed to be there, albeit in diminished quantities.
Considering that i have 3 HUGE food markets within 2 miles of me, i wouldn't find it likely that they would run out of anything real quick.
I STILL can't find my effing horseradish cheese, though.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Snowstorm panic buying! There are comedy skits on that. It makes me wonder what folks do with the extra four loaves of bread when the roads are passable in a day or two. It happens up here in the northeast too.
The most I might be prompted to do is go out and buy a good bottle of cognac to enjoy watching the snow come down w/tunes fired up or rent a couple of extra DVDs. If thing truely got bad from the weather, most households would run out of food in the house in like a week or two. -

That's easy. Fresh basil leaves, fresh garlic, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, capers (can be left out if you have an aversion), and anchovies (again can be left out). Throw everything in a food processor and let 'er rip. Sometimes I throw a handful of Locatelli cheese in with it. -
Joe, that should go in the "Recipe thread"......
Sounds damn tasty.....yum.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
easy on the anchovies could be a little salty, other than that sounds damn tasty! I have made a really good jalapeno pesto that works really good on tuna steaks.

Last night we went to the Outback. Coconut shrimp, steamed lobster tails, prime rib, garlic tater's and a salad. Couple of beers and rum and cokes and we were good to go.

Yes sir, I've been known to throw in a habanero in every so often . . . those effers are hotter than the devil.
BTW when I do use the anchovies in the pesto, I let them soak in milk for awhile to take the extra saltiness out of them then I go real easy on adding any kosher salt. -
I'm eating nuts. Yep, nuts.

The lobster tails were mighty tasty! Me, Tom and Kim wiped out six of 'em. I had the 12oz filet and you didn't need a knife to cut it. Yummy!
I heard you and Trey drove down to GA to visit Ben and within an hour of his house turned back because of the 3" of snow. Russ the wuss!!!:p
