    You can have multiple ban IP addy tables and you can just ban the IP for the forum use. But trolls seems to have seldom interest ordering from Polk. Their main purpose is to wreak havoc for the CP.

    The only thing wrong with the quality of CP lately, IMHO, is too much whining about what's wrong with the quality of CP, or other similar laments for ye good ol' days of olde!

    Yes, there are occasional trolls, but they get fed material by the truck load. If some could discipline themselves more to ignoring trolls when it becomes apparent that a thread is going south, the trolls would control themselves, and their threads would not be even half as annoying. When I first came here, there was such an intense flame war going on with some guy from Florida attacking GG's charity efforts and Ben's cables that I don't think anybody even noticed my arrival, so troll wars are not new either.

    Tag abuse is idiotic, but it won't stop the real tags being useful either, so I'm not convinced they are a major issue either.

    Of course, my experience is limited to less than two years, so I'm certainly not going to pontificate about how CP used to be great and how it has now gone to the dogs. I like the way it is, and it hasn't changed all that much IMO in the short time I have been lurking.

    I think Big Mac does' bring up some valid point's. In spite of some of the more recent "turmoil" caused by certain member's who like to "troll", and the BS regarding the tag's, i dont' find the quality of tech help has suffered. In the short time i have been here, this Forum built my system! :D

    I know my place, and wont offer advice unless im sure of the subject or question. I have a long way to go in this Hobby.

    But, i cant stand the "Troll's", and new member's with an attitude who pop up on here, disrespecting the Forum, and veteran member's, that just goes' up my ****!:mad:, but i have to just learn to hit the "ignore" button. I guess just protective of a great place i owe alot to.:D

    Ever since the TBT was locked, this forum hasn't been the same. My posting rate has dropped considerbly since then and its wasn't that the TBT was locked but why. A few TROLLS bitched about it and bam its gone. Sometimes a troll here and there makes the forum interesting but whenever the moderators give them so much leeway to pretty much take over, thats enough for me.

    But some troll **** don't stop me completely from coming here. I have enjoyed some interesting conversations with a lot of members and even had the liberty to meet one in person to show me what real audio sounds like:D and thats what its all about.

    I think the quality in audio threads is awesome

    This whole thread is only relevant to clubhouse posting . The point of the clubhouse is to talk about YOUR! day and nothing to do with audio .

    Trouble starts when people argue in thinking the clubhouse belongs to certain individual's

    That's precisely what I did. It was clearly marked & I knew I wasn't interested & I stayed out of it.

    The guys got a shock when they ventured into the Oh The Joys thread. There was a minor outcry, but then they adjusted, got over it & lived & let live.

    Neither thread really belonged here & there are plenty of other places to go see that kind of thing & more if people so choose.

    A couple of squeaky wheels made enough noise & they got taken down. Oh well that's life. Let it go, get over it & move on.

    The club is still here, still growing. Yes every once & a while a few idiots come along to stir up trouble & you guys fall into the trap every single time & keep it going.

    Ignore the jerks, put them on ignore & they will eventually go else where for their kicks.
