Sure it is. Damping and current play a bigger role than rated wpc. However, since you have no problems, then other issues are the more likely cause. Another possibility would be he's cranking the volume too high. The Gear... It would stand to reason that he should not have issues from his amp, and drivers are most likely the cause. Phase issues could also have something to do with it, but my bet is a couple drivers need to be replaced.
I still have 2 bad tweeters, working on getting a couple more SL 3000's until I can upgrade to the RDO 198-1's?? That wouldn't cause this would it?? By the way, I am now bi-amped, 405 to the tweets and 405 to the low's. No difference??
The problem is when I am cranking the volume, but certainly not as loud as the LSi 15's have been cranked?? I am sure they should be able to put out more volume than I am able to get. I played each driver at reasonably high volumes connected directly to my speaker output and they all sounded okay???Not sure what to listen for except a difference?? The drivers all checked about the same resistance..the 6511 are about 3.5 and the 6503 are about 7.0.
I am going to assemble the left unit and try again...I am at a loss, unless I have an amp issue??
I am open to any ans all suggestions.

Press in gently on the passive radiator and hold it in. The mids should come forward and slowly return back to normal over a 2 1/2 to 3 second time period. It was, but I swapped them out with the bottom tweeter. Now the bottom tweeter is dead.

I'm rethiinking this and the chances of both crossovers getting fried is slim. It may be that your amp can't handle the load with the fried tweeters.
You have to replace the tweeters anyway so you may as well wait to put the new ones in to see what happens. That is unless someone else has a better idea. -
Unscrew the crossover cover plates and remove the crossovers.
Check for any visible damage to the caps and/or resistors.
There is a document here someplace that will tell you what are the values you should get when testing every cap, resistor & choke of the crossovers with a ohm meter.
I tried to locate it but I could not find it.
Thanks, I will look for it.
Meanwhile, I was testing and found that my interconnect cable somehow bit the dust....No continuity from blade to blade, but there is from pin to pin...
When you have the cable hooked up (and working) which drivers should get input from the cable.
If I unhook the speaker wires and just hook up the cable, which drivers should play??
What ohm rating are these speakers?? I thought they were 8??Pio Elete Pro 520

To avoid confusions there is no continuity from blade to blade. The blade side of the socket is connected to the lower negative post.
-
Well, I must have other issues....If I connect the cable and disconnect the inputs from one speaker it is dead. Before it would play some from the interconnect. Now, if I connect the blades from speaker to speaker the disconnected speaker plays???

No disrespect to the LSi15's, but the 1.2TL's should completely outperform them on all levels. There are two many things going on at the moment. I suggest you get the two tweeters replaced as Hearingimpaired suggested and put everything together as though you just set them up again for the first time. It sounds as though you are chasing to many gremlins at once rather than focusing on each as a specific concern. Let's just deal with one at a time. The Gear...
