As I said earlier you are entitled to your opinion. What happened here was when others voiced their opinion that differed from yours you became belligerent. The result was just returning to you what you were dishing out.

    I think if I shot someone dead I'd be saying all those things too. Try to cover up for myself. Might be true, might not be true. Maybe the guy acted in self defense, maybe he over reacted and plugged some poor kid.

    Hmmm... Well it seems that since the police have not filed any charges because the evidence clearly matches the homeowners story I would say it's a safe bet that it was self defense not that he over reacted and as you say plugged some poor kid.
