    My battery currently lasts 2 days without charge. I surf, email , IM , Use the phone on and off all day long. I use the Ipod in it when I go bike riding and if someone calls, I can keep riding and talk at the same time. When I'm off the phone, it goes back to what I was listening 2. Thats way badass. I never have battery problems. I holds a charge longer then I expect due to the amount I use it. My wife is on hers most of the time. Her battery lasts a long time as well.

    But my bottom line is I love it. I have everything I need in my pocket. it's totally awesome. If I need a answer or tech spec, I whip out my iphone and get it with the quickness. I could not even dream of asking anymore out of a phone or mobil device.

    Apple Rules, Iphone Rules, Mac rules. OSX rules.

    I was a skeptic and a hater until i obtained one on the cheap and was able to unlock and jailbreak to use on T-Mobile. I have had Copy paste, MMS, Video Recording, tethering etc... Since i did that. Now i wouldnt trade it for nothing. Its a mini computer in the palm of your hands. Besides who talks on the phone anymore these days unless your an old **** who cant figure out how to Text :p:D;)

    I will be looking for 16g 3g on the cheap when they release the new 3gs

    What software are you using? The VZ Navigator SUCKS A** I just deleted it so I could upgrade the OS on my Blackberry Storm.

    I just got an enV touch. I'm really impressed. I have never sent a text message before getting this phone. Thought I'd give it a try. I like hard buttons so the qwerty keyboard is quite nice. Oh, and did I mention it was free??

    Plus I get to keep the much better network of Verizon :D

    Apparently a lot of AT&T customers are angry they have to pay full price for an upgrade to the GS.

    I don't see why people get pissed about the price of something they want. In the game of technology, if you are a first adopter, you pay more for something. Always. Look at computers. First computers were the size of a house and could barely calculate at a 2nd grade level. They were, with inflation, over a million dollars.

    Now, you walk around with a phone that magically moving pictures, sound, whatever you want... globally... for such a small fraction of the price...

    Also, if someone wants to charge a gazillion dollars for something and you don't agree with that... Do the ultimate boycott.

    As to your point about first adopters - exactly. YOu want the newest and best tech, you're not going to get the best deals on it. Supply and demand.

    yea i think those that got the 3G within the last year are getting shafted with the upgrade to the 3G S, i have an original which is less than a month from my 2 yr expiration for contract. They must have some type of courtesy when you are that close because when i typed in my info at the apple site, the records showed that my price would be $199 for the 16 gig

    I relented and ordered the 16gb for $199 upgrade price.

    Thought about going for the 32gb but then realize it is a phone, which most likely it will be replaced in a year (with a better smaller fancier cheaper 1TB version).
    I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    I disagree. I just purchased a blackberry Storm and I understand that the name of the game is wait 2yrs. before Verizon will subsidize another phone for me. Those are the rules. That is no different from the games AT&T makes their customers play.

    Exactly. The phone goes for 600 dollars unsubsidized; the only reason a phone company subsidizes the price is to lure in new / repeat business. Why should they give you a new phone every 2 weeks just cuz you want one? Typical whiny little baby thinking they deserve everything for no good reason.

    3.0 is here and ATT has updated upgrade polices for the 3gs...

    I had to flash a leaked ROM to my Omnia to unlock the GPS. It will soon be an official release, but the release date has come and gone. After unlocking the GPS, I was able to install TomTom and have it access the GPS. Your Blackberry will be different because it runs a completely different OS

    3.0 rocks. speeds up the 3G just fine. Stereo bluetooth, copy & paste, and the rest work great. No MMS messenging until ATT gets off the rears.

    I downloaded the 3.0 to my 3g last night and now my camera is missing. Does anyone know where it went?

    Are you SURE it's missing? Go to Spotlight and type "Camera', maybe it's just... somewhere you don't expect :)

    well i was just reading up on a 3.0 walkthrough and they added a new parental feature to turn/hide camera icon.

    Goto General> restrictions and make sure its "ON"

    Got it- it's a Microsoft Exchange bug. Apple told me to delete an re-add my Exchange email. I deleted it and the camera reappeared. I have yet to add it back....
