Me too, I was just on about an hour ago on my "lunch" break. Man did I do horrible, lol. All I play for the most part is FFA, for some reason I do even worse in team based matches, lol.

Finally got on tonight since I'm stuck at home cause of snow and good friend was on for once.
Something weird happened though, we were playing FFA and I was going like 23-5 (no I wasn't boosting;), its fun playing friends on FFA). Then screen started **** up( like whenever the connection is lost but happens to everyone), then when it start working again, I was at 0-0 and everyone else kept their stats.... my friend had no clue what happened either. Went 17-3, but still lost. Do you think the host has power to do something like that?
Anyways... Willow yes that does suck when that happens but its usually the only time people quit is when they losing badAVR: H/K AVR240

I think there was lots o cheating last night, it;s getting very annoying. I'm taking a break from this game.
in a TDM some one on my team was able to get a NUKE...Yeah right! next we were the minimum of players needed for a game, I was kicking a$$ then all of a sudden new people join and one guy is already at 18 kills. Complete BS. He had a mic on and he I'm sure he hadn't even grown any peach fuzz yet. He called in 3 choppers right after each other -

I am not a gamer, nor do I play one on tv...my kids are seriously addicted to MW - maybe it was one of them - they are always talking about getting to the next "prestige" level....do you play on an xbox or PS3?

PS3. Are they the type that would cheat ? these kids did for sure.
I'll play but probably in private matches and tougher games. -
Modern Warfare 2 Care Package Fix On The Way

Earlier this week, my Modern Warfare 2 clan, Moo!, jumped online with the goal of extending our consecutive win streak past 12. We managed to hit five wins in a row before running into a group of players in ground war deathmatch who used the care package glitch. Our streak ended in this match, forcing my clan into retirement until Infinity Ward patched the game. I've been itching to get back into the action, but hadn't heard anything lately regarding a fix. Using the magic of a web service called Twitter, I sent Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling this question: "Any updates on the care package patch?" He responded within seconds. "The Care Package Fix patch went to Microsoft for cert on Friday. Not too much longer before it's a thing of the past."
Good news! Given how big of a problem this glitch has been, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft pushes it through as quickly as they can. I'm guessing we'll see it next week!

I tried it last night, and had fun with it. Sure it's not fair, and no I don't have to use it to win. In the end it gave me a good laugh, then I carried on and continued to earn my 20+ kills in every match the way I always do (playing fair and square).
I have yet to see like 8-10 of us gaming like we used to do. Sup with that?Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

I won't be on much until later next week, when my family all flies out of here. Maybe next Friday we can have a big Polk night. -

No - they don't cheat - but they know the 'weaknesses' of the game and they sure play alot.

Getting on now for a bit. Gotta hit the grocery store at some point tonight, but after that I'll probably be around the rest of the night if we want to get some **** going.
-
My buddy is AWESOME at the game and he never glitches... except.
when ppl start care package glitching all the time and he gets pissed enough, he emergency airdrop glitches (since he can get that streak with his eyes closed).
Kinda funny, last night he was so mad he called in 8 of em! we had everything in the sky over and over again. -
i'll get some tonight. checked last night and no one was online. i actually tried to rush home and finish what i was doing only to find i did so in vain.

You guys should all just switch to socom. I have only ran into 1 or 2 glitchers since the game came out, and as far as tactical shooters go, it beats MW2 hands down. There are tournaments, clan ladders, you can schedule clan matches against other clans for certain times of the day. It's a much more organized and team based game.
It's been out for over a year and they are still patching it and making the game better and better. They are even going to keep releasing map packs and new weapons every so often. For people who played it when it first came out, forget what you thought of it then. The game has been fixed and is a very solid shooter.
One thing I hate about MW2 is the aiming assists and how arcady everything is. Socom is nothing like that. It's pure skill and strategy, no air drops, or care packages, no perks like super speed, or stronger bullets. Socom comes down to planning and skill, something that COD just does not offer.
So for everyone tired of the COD glitches and the basic mayhem that is COD, go spen 10$ and pick up a used copy of socom and give it a try. It's a game that begginers will surely get destroyed at, so give it a few days before you decide against it.Denon 1909, want to upgrade for pre outs

Oh you never played it? I suggest you do, its basically MW2 without all the damn killstreaks and more spread out perks (didn't combine two perks into one slot giving less advantage for each player, so they rely more on their weapon then their perk, yes thats you commando;)). No boosters is alwasys a plus too.
Then one (of a few) things I was happy to see gone in MW2 was the grenadefest. How many times I got killed from people randomly throwing grenades uhh.AVR: H/K AVR240

After playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 BETA, I doubt I will be back to COD that much anymore. It's still only a BETA but that game has some serious promise. Those playing on their surround sound system are going to LOVE IT!

Thanks Demi, I love milk.
I noticed more people are accusing me of cp glitch. Like last night some guy was flipping saying I'm a **** cheater and to play him for real. I had Pred missil, harrier, and AC-130 and I was getting the AC130 sometimes three times a game(no one was smart enough to shoot it and harrier down). I sent him a message saying if I would be doing that you would see chopper, emp, etc. He didn't believe me and start doing the glitch himself... Whatever.
I haven't played with any of you guys in a while. Let me know when the next game isAVR: H/K AVR240

Last night was a rare night for me. Actually exactly opposite. I started out horrible like I was tired. Then as the night went on, many 26-10 type games with 2 emergency airdrops each game. Those are fun but the team I was playing did a great job as I'd get 2 packages then I'd get grenaded so they'd get the others. My tram sucked and didn't protect me. Still ended with 6 games in a row about 3-1 average.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

i believe you can set them up manually but i haven't even done that myself. maybe that's why i'm not as good at this game as i should be.

Nope, completely "random" I have noticed though if you get one early on it is almost always a UAV or something lame like that.i believe you can set them up manually but i haven't even done that myself. maybe that's why i'm not as good at this game as i should be.
Nope, completely "random" You are talking about the Killstreak Rewards which you can set up in the order you want to get them, after you unlock them by leveling up that is. Right now I have my 3 at UAV, my 5 at Predator, and my 7 at Harrier. This way I don't have to waste time calling my care packages in, or worry about someone stealing it. Just get them and use them right away.

Considering how early they're available in a killstreak, the care packages are the best killstreak reward aside from the emergency air drop. Yeah, they're random, but I would say most of the time something good comes out of them or a UAV/C-UAV at the very least. Hell, even an ammo crate isn't a complete waste so long as you don't get it right after a respawn.
It just takes a little pre-planning, but there are plenty of safe spots on every map to drop them that you should be able to cover easily.
Really, I don't understand why you wouldn't put them in your killstreak loadout. -
It's not that I don't want to put them in my loadout, it's just that in the past I have used them and it seems to take me out of the game too long having to find a safe spot to use it, wait for it to come in and then go get it and use it. Seems better to me to just use the ones I don't really have to stop what I am doing just to use (except for the Predator of course) and I don't have to worry about anyone taking it from me before I get a chance to use it.

Exactly, I use the pred missile and I feel that already takes too much time. Other then ground war, its pretty much anyones game who takes it.
On a side note, I am officially addicted to this game again, and for the wrong reasons. I started to really search for nuke boosters yesterday and its the funnest I've had with this game period. Nothings more satisfying then stopping them before their nuke. My winn/loss ratio has dropped significantly since I leave games if they aren't boosting but I don't care. I recommend all of you who play FFA often to have your own nuke hunter class, you won't regret it.AVR: H/K AVR240
