Man this game is sick. The graphics and sound are killer. If any of you want some easy kills, look me up. I am not very good at gaming, but I love to play anyway. I do not take it seriously.

PS3 is currently having some server issues that should be worked out soon. On 360 the servers are at Microsoft... on PS3 the servers are whoever Infinity Ward contracted for servers, and word is they are working hard at it.

I'm very much NOT impressed with the single-player campaign. It's very much a rehash of the CoD4 campaign with some new weapons and vehicles.

All that is really different is a LOT more bad guys to shoot in general.

Once again, Xbox Live proves its worth paying the nominal monthly fee.

Reasons why I don't respond to game invites 1) Baby is keeping me busy at the moment 2) eating something unhealthy 3) playing like crap and don't want you to witness more of the same.

Server issues are fixed for you PS3 users, though the party issues won't be fixed until tomorrow. IW says there will be a patch Friday morning to address it.

But yeah... XBox Live is occasionally worth the money. :D

I'm enjoying this game a lot!

Trying to learn the maps as I don't know where peeps hide. As for single player, it's good I started then started over as I missed picking up the intel. Now i"m playing but taking my time to explore and find stuff.

Not sure if you're on PS3 or 360, but 360 lets you quickly and permanently mute those people. But yeah, I'm not a fan of them locking out the party chat... but I understand why they're doing it. Too many team games were hosed by cheaters.

I am on XBox, and yes I know you can do that, I just find it annoying that I have to do it all the time rather than just going in and not wasting time doing such. I just like going into the game with my guys and talking stupid to them without others having to hear what we say or what we are talking about as we will talk about other things as well when we play.
Last night was kinda werid problems on live though, we kept getting kicked from the game, like you would go into it for about 1-2 mins and then it would just kick you back to the main screen saying it could not find a host, even though we were in there. Kinda strange but only lasted for about 20 mins.
Hardcore is insane, I still can't figure out where some of these people are at.
oh well just gotta play more!

Ground War still allows you to use Party Chat in game, so we all just play that. I don't know, I like Team Deathmatch and Domination, and that's what Ground War is, so I think it's more fun and a lot more action anyways.

Eh, I don't mind ground war but I'm so used to everything in hardcore. Thats all I played on COD5 so going back to the other version can be annoying. We have playing ground war a bunch now, and doing pretty well at it, but my heart lies with hardcore. I mean there are 5-7 of us that play at a time so its not too bad when we can fill up the whole party so it hasn't been too bad, I just like being able to talk to my friends when they are also playing other games and stuff, thats what I don't like. Such as my buddy plays red faction all the time but now in hardcore and everything I don't talk to him at all due to not being able to.

How's the button layout for the PS3. I own a PS3, but haven't played a game on it. I do like the XBOX controller layout, it's best for FPS.

I hooked up my height channels to my Onkyo 1007 tonight. Spun a few BDs and while the sound was fuller and I was definitely being immersed in things like rain, wind, etc., it was very subtle. Then I popped in MW2 for some single player... and WOW. The effect DPL-IIz Height has on that game is insane! I was totally shocked at how much sound came from the height channels, though it was still not sounding gimmicky and it almost sounded as if they meant the sound to be up there. Color me completely impressed.

Dolby folks say it makes a big impact on games. Not surprised... games use those surround channels more consistently than any other medium. I've got some Lsi7s destined for high up on the wall soon!
