    if they were listed in the FS on forum I would agree, but in my mind CL is no different than Ebay and the best offer usually wins. I will need to sell my 1c's however...

    You should have at least waited for Nikolas to get back to you. It's just not cool to circumvent fellow Polkies that start discussing a deal in the Club like this. Knowing Nick, he might even have offered to check them out for you, and pick them up for a better price if possible, and still sell them on to you for no "profit" in between. I am surprised by you, NJ, and I really hope that things are not the way the seem in this chain of events.

    Well ... that just sucks big time in my book. There I was, having fun with Ben, the Lightdude and a few others ... it was quite fun, really, ... then this. You would never even have seen this listing if this thread had not pointed them out to you. Sometimes what goes around comes around. Nick has found some great deals over time, probably because he deserves them.

    Nick may well forgive you, but I doubt if I ever will.

    I was sent a private message about these at about 8pm from a friend here in the forum and responded to it. If Nick is able to get them I will be tickled pink for him and will help him out in any way that I can. I may not have the ability to get them to my home as I doubt this guy will be up for the 400 mile round trip, and I do not have the means to go and get them...

    Regardless, you just offered the guy $750. Your "friend on the forum" could not have sent you the message if he had not seen Nick's thread. Where does that leave Nick now? He may have wanted to pay that price, and he may not, but you have left him no option at this point (or severly limited them) and apparently, you cannot even pick them up anyway, so Nick could have done the deal for you but why would he want to now?

    This the first time I have witnessed such shamelessly, brazenly dishonorable behavior on CP from someone who seems to want to remain an active member.

    The problem here is too many don't understand that this is POLK FAMILY. If you can't figure that out after a short period here you deserve what you get.
