With two different amps, you have to run to both speakers with both amps. 35 to mid/tweeters & 45 to lows (horizontal bi=amping) Does your 45 have a gain control ? Remove "jumpers" between top set and bottom set of binding posts before bi-amping!!

OOPS, I just saw that you sold your 45 ! Get another 35 and then you can go vertical.
    :)

You are not talking about bridging them? That would be very very bad.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Thanks for all the congrats.

I know this is a BOLD statement. But these MAY very well be the last speakers I ever buy.... Or least It will be a long time before I venture out to anything else.

I can't wait to get some real power too them...

Nik and I are in Virginia right now. I somehow managed to stumble home to my hotel room after a completely red neck drunken night with his family. They rule!

By the way, Nik's new horns look pretty sweet, but nothing compared to the pristine SDAs I heard this past morning.

Wow, this is the score of the year. I'm friggin' jealous. I'm real happy with my 1C's, but I'm sure I'd be a lot happier with those bad boys. One day.....
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Nope, everything that I've heard or read about bridging a 2ch. amp to run mono is, it's a bad idea, hard on the amp, F's up the control of low freq. drivers and never should be done with less than an 8ohm speaker load. I never plan to even give it a try!;)

I plan to get me read on about these.

But until then. I have a question.

Can I run these with mono blocks?
