Allison should have finished #2 but America simply does not relate to her. If she had toned down her appearance 3 or 4 weeks ago (I know, it's a compromise when you are 17), I think she would still be alive. Kris' mouth looks dorky and like he is in pain when he sings. He should have been the one to go.

That 'thing' they were talking about with Allison not relating, is part of the reason I like her so much. I'm tired of the pageant. She's cool and her own person. Different. Rock on.

I can't stand much more of Madam Lambert. His over dramatic out-of-control facial expressions, his untamed tongue that always seems to appear on high notes, and his operatic arrangements that only serve to show off his corny metal range rather than good taste, are just too much.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins but I would be dissapointed.

I think Kris should win. Adam's the most talented, but I would never WANT to listen to him sing. I don't even see the big deal about Danny at all, I don't think he's that great; kinda one-note, really. NOt literally, but everything he does just sounds exactly the same. Kris is the only one who I can imagine buying an album of.

Simon lobbed a big ol' softball right over the plate for Adam The Screamer. The other judges weren't as kind to Danny and Kris. A dance number for Danny? You've got to be kidding? I think he was set-up to make Adam the Screamer look good! Kris's song was OK for him and I felt he actually did a great job with it. I don't for the life of me know where the judges were coming from with their criticisms. Again, I think it was all designed to promote AdamTheScreamer.

I agree with bobman. Kris is the only one I would look forward to buying an album from.

Adam's voice sounds amazingly like Axel Rose's. He must be saving the Guns N Roses stuff for the finals. I guess he could also do some Freddy Mercury/Queen. That's really where his voice is. He does scream too much, but is the most talented contestant left.

I agree with bobman. Kris is the only one I would look forward to buying an album from.

Allison's album is what I am waiting for.

Vocally, Kris is about two notches below Adam, but personality wise, Adam is adorable (maybe more naivete than anything else). Yes, Kris has the popularity to upset the final (slightly).

Personally, I am not a big rock fan but I can see buying Adam's album (provided that he sticks with old classic Rock genre).

I strongly disagree. Look at teh albums that sell (at least to the demo Idol wants), they aren't dramatic glam rocker types, they're pretty boys with synthesized voices.

So I'm watching the DVR'ed AI last night and got thru to Danny's visit home, then some video glitch and BAM-now where watching the swan song. Talk about a spoiler!

Apparently something happened to everything in between-I missed practically the whole show.

If Kris wins ................ I'm going to install a plexiglass window to my freezer, put a 10 pound block of ice on the top shelf ...... and watch it sublimate.

Not that I'm trying to imply that he's as exciting as watching a block of ice melt. No, for we need to expand the "Excitement" scale to include sublimation and then, and only then, will we be able to accurately measure his excitement generating ability.

For any Kris fans out there, I mean this in a positive way.

...But Adam? Blech. I have this feeling (I know, never trust your feelings), but I just wonder if, when Adam's let loose on the world, he'll just go waaaaaay dramatic and lose a large portion of the audience that Idol + think he'll have. Yeah, he'll have handlers, so maybe they point him in the right direction, whatever that is.

I think Kris will do alright. I like how he works and re-interprets songs - a lot talent there. But I won't go "Yipee!" for whomever gets the win.

Watching Adam is like watching a drag show. Now that Danny's out, I really don't care who wins. But y'know, I think Danny will go on to big things regardless, and it may be a blessing for him not to win the way it was for Chris Daughtry.
