It's 9 deg right now and only going up to 19. It's very effin cold for Phila. I'm really getting tired of it. At least when it's really hot, you can get cooled off but cold gets you in your bones.

Damn, its -8 right now in pittsburgh. Surprising that there is a 20 degree difference across the state

Apparently my car stops working at like 0 or so. Well, it works, but it makes some WEIRD **** noises until it's warmed up.

Was about -10 this morning in NH, almost 10 degrees down in MA where I work.

Well, we hit our cold snap today. It's about 13 degrees in the sun with a windchill at like -10 I think they said.

Not as cold as up north but nasty cold for this area. Temps in the high teens to mid 20's are normal but this is a bit more than usual.

HEAT WAVE due tomorrow the 20-30's :) then all here walk around in Spring jackets and wonder why they get sick the next week ;)

Had Dr's app today, it was about 11 blocks from work. There was no way I was walking it was -37 with wind. I drove....I must say if it wasn't for the heated seats, I might as well have walked ! It's such a pain in the behind to walk little Willow every morning, I get dressed and can't see crap with all me winter stuff, slap a jacket on her then struggle with her boots! If I don't put on her boots, she looks like she on a pogo stick the whole walk or some kind of 2 legged peg leg....if that makes sense...

Yep, my GF called me in a panic today because she thought she had a flat or something was wrong with the car.

"Are any of the tires actually flat?"
    "No, I checked"
    "Okay then, keep driving"

I actually kind of like this weather. There is almost no slush on the roads, no west snow or anything. The snow is dry as dust. If it wasn't for high winds, the weather would be perfect for winter fun.

And yes, black ice sucks - 5 accidents on a 15-mile stretch on my drive form work yesterday. Really, all you have to do is drive carefully - keep your distance in front and behind you, and don't make any sudden moves (brakes, accelerations, etc.).

I have seen 2 cars in the last 2 months going out of control right in front of me. One car did full turn and then another 180 and stopped against the traffic without hitting anyone. Another guy did full 360 and into the ditch...

-26 is cold anywhere no matter where you are lol. Actually the average low for here is most likely less than -20 and the high is around -10 or so on any given day from nov-feb even though it can and will get very cold at times. -83 is the coldest I personally have ever seen here as an ambient temp.

I spent one winter in a small Indian village on the yukon river and one day it got down to -74 with 40 mph winds average and gusts up to 75mph im not certain what would that translate into wind chill temps the wind chill charts I could find doesnt go down that low but it was damn cold trust me.

Right now our problem is that it's went from -45 last week to 45 above this week and the snow is melting making roads parking lots etc slick as hell, it's 44 above right now at 1:46 am here and I can hear water dripping off the roof outside I have the window open cuz it's so damn hot :D

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
