Try out a set of Audioquest Type 4

I have a pair of AQ type 4's that are 10 feet long and spades all around. Instead of these sitting in my closet maybe some fellow Polk Members would like to try them out for awhile. From what I have read these are good entry level cables.
I'd feel most comfortable sending them to a solid forum member than someone with 2 posts. I am not looking to sell them, don't need the money, I just think it could benefit those looking into upgrading or comparing cables.

Awesome on you. I have the Type4's and they are a great budget cable:)
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Another plus one for the Type 4's. It's a helluva cable.

    LOL
Its not that great generosity they only cost me about $50.00 :D

There were a pair of Signal Cables I missed on Audiogon last week for about the same cost which I would have grabbed if I were not out partying.

You got a great deal. A used pair normally sells for at least twice that amount.

Everything is relative. For some that is a lot, for others it's about a 1/2 hr. of work. :)

No problem, not yet anyway. Your number two in line. Once miner wraps up with them he can send them to you.
If I never saw them again and members continued to benefit from them it would be awesome.
If other members have interest I'll have to keep track of who's who and where things are so we have no problems.

Your right and I didn't mean to sound like a **** head. My meaning was, if you look around you may find a good deal and I did and want to share with my fellow members. You guys are the reason I have some knowledge and have been having alot of fun over the past couple years.

Ain't that the truth. It would take me about 6.5 hours of work. I guess I don't need to say my upgrades take a long time:eek:

The real problem begins when you hear a top notch recording and then want it - ching, ching. It pays to shop around.

I'll go on record to say this. Compare the Type 4's to cables up to 250.00 per 10 feet premade. They are that good. I would own them and use them in my own system and I have owned 900.00 speaker wires.

Hey buddy. I absolutely appreciate your offer and I did just see that offer in the other thread. I'd buy them if you wanted to sell them but I'm positive I'm going to buy a set anyway. Do certianly appreciate it though.

How much at Vann's? I'd sure like two 8 foot pairs.

    I paid $99 for "AudioQuest Type 4 12 ft. pair BFA-spade (Silver)" @ Vann's.
Maybe I could have found them cheaper somewhere else, but I like Vann's. They have free shipping on most items and the customer service at Vann's is about as good as Polk Audio.

I've heard enough. I'm going over to my thread about speaker cables and look at the prices and resources people here left me and I'm going after 2 pair.
Hey all you smart guys. I see that most of these are terminated with spades. Will a spade run up under traditional 5-way binding post or should I order bent post and banana terminations instead?

MADGSF is up first and on deck is TouchOfEvil. If the two of you will send a PM's with mailing info. and time periods you would like to work with that will be a big help. This should be real simple as long as we communicate.
