PM sent. I can work with just about any time period. So even if it's 2-3 days it would be great just to be able to get my ears on the wires.

Nice of you to make this offer Drew. :)

The cables will leave today for TouchOfEvils evaluation followed by either MADGSF or McLoki. I'm thinking a couple weeks for each participant.

Good job Drew. I am a big AQ fan have owned some Type 4s in the past. I think the participants will be pleasantly suprised with these speaker cables. I would not hesitate to put them back in my rig any time.

    Cool!

And hopefully they will be burned in by the time I get them!

I'm looking forward to doing my own test/comparison to the debate of cables and SQ.

Any suggestions on how this should be done correctly & fairly?

I'd love to get in on this. I've been looking at speaker wire lately, and was thinking about getting some AQ Type 4's for my mains.

I'm pretty close to McLoki too, if that helps any for shipping purposes.

Well i got about 20 hours on the wires as of now. I let em play alot before i actually listened to em any wanted to let them break in a little. Even though i'm sure 20hours is not enough i did listen for a bit.
What i notice with them is a bit more detail in the upper highs department. The mids sound more defined"less muddy" than my cheapo wires. Seems to bring everything together without lumping it into one sound.
So so far i'd say they add a nice amount of clarity to the system.
Now to let em break in some more and see how they do with another 20 hours on em.

Well i hooked up the DH labs wires on my highs for a bi wired setup. Never intended to run my mids/bass with em anyway so...
None broken in at all compared to the type 4's the DH has more presence is the best way to describe it. More to come after i get to listen some more.

Tad brighter. I don't hear a lot of difference but I feel better. LOL.
I did get a lot more punch when I took the 16 gauge somethings off the surround and replaced them with the Belden 14 twisted pair. I'm think about pre/pro now. I'm sunk.
