Up till now I just use 12awg outdoor lighting cable, but as soon as I upgrade my SDAs with XO re-work and RDOs I'll start trying new ICs and speaker cables. My finances won't allow me to go too high up the chain plus my gear doesn't really rate top notch cables anyway. I think Signal or Bluejeans will be more than good enough to reveal all the other flaws in my system!:)

    Kimber gets my vote

I am currently running Cardas but would agree; for the money I think Kimber is very had to beat. I plan on going back to Kimber in the near future.

I really like the Kimber line. Very good build quality, top-notch materials without too much snake oil engineering, reasonably priced, and excellent performance.

i second the straley reality speaker cables. i am using single runs with audio art sc-5 jumpers. i started a thread on audio circle asking people what speaker cables they replaced their straley's with and the ones that replaced them, went to much more expensive cables. i think the straleys are priced $250-$280 for an 8' pair.
i also like the audio art sc-5 speaker cables.

I think if you aren't sure what kind of synergy your system may have, AQ PSC+ IC's and SC's are a damn good place to start.

Silver, though, is what seems to be making the biggest difference nowadays. I have Ben's silver bi-wired on my tweeters, MAC AgQ's (pre to amp) and KAS silver (CDP to pre) as my main conductors and noticed immediate, positive differences over the AQ and Vampire copper products.

FWIW, I thought the Vampire CCC IC's did everything the AQ Diamondbacks did for half (or less) the price.

Really enjoyed the Tara Labs RSC 500, then RSC Reference Gen 2+, and now have MIT Shotgun S2. The MIT's have better openness and clarity, but the Tara matched with my LSi15's had the low-mid/high-bass impact that got my foot tapping, where the MIT doesn't. I know its probably artificially bumping that frequency, but its still pleasant to listen to.
I would like to compare the Tara Air 1, but haven't seen any in biwired configuration.

Well, not much has changed in my rig here with the exception that now I have two pair of AQ CV-8's w/ the 72V BP. I feel no need to upgrade on this front. Like Mantis said, it's a good all around cable.

Still running the AQ CV-4's and also have been running some Canare S411. I have tried many cables in my system and heard many others in other peoples systems. The S411 is a real cheap way to get into better cables. When I get my speakers convert from an active XO to a passive XO I will be looking to give MIT another shot.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
