Has anyone heard/used Cardas Clear speaker cables? They are not cheap ($3726/2m pair), but for being Cardas' top cable, still cheaper than many companies top cable line (MIT, Transparent Audio, Kimber, etc).

I've had AQ Type 4 and AQ Granite, then Kimber 4TC, and now 8TC/8TC v.2. The 8TC's have been in place for about 6yrs.

Just installed a pair of Kimber 8TC. I'm hoping for an improvement from the Monster's I've been running. I was really doing a diservice to my speakers using the Monster cable.

I get the opportunity to listen to a lot of cables and wire and I've been impressed by a relatively inexpensive wire and cable by Gotham Audio.
I've been using these since wednesday and have about 100hrs burning them in and I'll have to say they sound as good as some of my more expensive "name brands". They most definitely need burn in time on them. When I first put them together and fired them up they were harsh and shallow. Those bad qualities left pretty quick and the wires are sounding pretty darned good the more hours on them they get.
I don't have many hours on the Gotham ICs yet but the speaker wires are more than worth the money and termination time.
They're very well insulated and I think that's where they shine. They shield out the interferrence around me better than any cable I've used. More time on them will tell the whole story but they're already better sounding than MOST of the cables I've listened to.
Lots of bang for the buck with them.

I have used and still use Kimber Kable. I consider them the best bang for the buck.

Why spend all that money on MIT SHOTGUN CABLES when there's radio shack, right around the corner....You got to be kidding... I'm loving my MIT Shotgun S3 Cables.I finally Upgraded,it was long over due. Thanks RT1 and,Oh lawd,I forget the other guy's name,(he's popular here on the forum),that sold them to me for a reasonable price. I also bought a MIT Digital coaxial cable from E-bay, and reconnected my Audio Alchemy Dac,the DDE 3.0 and is using the Oppo 95 as a transport...man,I can't believe the sound,Absolutely, Awesome..God is good to me. I talked to the guys from DH Labs at the Audio Show this past weekend, and they are some cool cats. Manufactured in the USA, good quality at great prices, I think they may be my next upgrade. I'm thinking Q-10 and some Ultra RCA...

Darren is a cool dude, and his Q-10 Signature speaker cables are something special. They are a great speaker cable, and the best for the price IMO.

I just ordered a pair of Luminous Audio Synchestra Signature Speaker Cables along with a pair of matching Synchestra Reference Interconnects. I opted for the burn-in treatment from Tim for an extra $35 which I've never tried before. I've never tried their speaker cables before, but I've read great reviews and they look nice as well. Here's to hoping they are my "BEST" best speaker cables to date!

I really like these with my tubes and horns. They added some brilliance on the top end that is pleasing to my ears. The major advantage was I won them.

Hmmm, I can not remember the brand name of my spkr wire at this time. I have also in the past stayed as far away from the great cable/ wire debates as possible. Having said that I know that it is #10 guage and #8 guage oxygen free copper braided wire terminated with monster cable fittings at the amp and spkrs. This wire is without the teflon center strand that i have seen inside monster cable. Not sure why that was added to their wire. Im using nothing fancy and am very happy..!!!
