Well, isn't that convenient. Hmmmmm. Would you mind taking a look at the "scratches" on the sub?

This was the description......."The top is very glossy and has some very faint scratches, only noticable under bright light".

Well I hardly think that's fair as only 2 (maybe 3) people know the true story, and none of us have the power to decide fault. This issue is unresolved and in still currently under review by multiple agencies. I have already been cleared by one. Steve cannot seem to understand that if I am found at fault, I will do what I can to make it right. I would rather not discuss any specifics until the situation is concluded. I obviously have not disappeared which would be a definite indicator of guilt. My reputation is the only one on the line because I choose to not speak out, as that is not my method of getting my way. I would rather not slander and threaten others becasue they do not agree with me. Oh well, I guess that's effect of the cloak of anonominity so rampant on the internet.

He's already been cleared by one??? Who would that be, himself? It's absolutely amazing that he still refuses to accept responsibility for his screw up!

Well, that was quick, I think I killed it. I was playing WotW for some friends and heard it hit a few times. I turned it off right away (maybe 3 sec). Now I get no sound. I haven't really looked at the driver (it'll be a PITA to do that) but it looks ok fom the outside. What damage do I look for? I'm assuming I have no warranty recourse right? I might contact them and ask anyway.

    Karma is a ****, eh!?!

You gotta be kidding me right? I had to read that twice F1 and I'm still blown away.

You mean he actually made a post specific to the dead amp he tried to scam off on Disneyjoe? That right there should be presented to the authorities if I'm reading this correctly. That's criminal activity and interstate fraud no matter how you slice it.

If paypal reimburses Chris and UPS honors the claim, then the amp is theirs. Make sure he holds onto everything and turns it over. Dylan eats the delta. If UPS denies the claim, then Dylan eats everything.

Chris and myself both think pursuing UPS would be a bad thing, so if they refund $$ back to Dylan then we both didn't think Dylan would return the $$.
So he isn't working with UPS both PayPal only.

The CC company should be the one to refund Chris the $$$. Then they will go after PP. Who cares after that? Problem solved.....time to move on.

Dylan has already been flagged on so many audio sites, I don't think he'll be able to sell anything now. You know....."karma"......it's a ****.

    Read this.....

I have been on the losing side of a few situations like this and it is never pretty. I guess I knew better that to ship something like this. That is what I meant when mentioning what we learned; it was not an admission of guilt. If I was guilty, I wouldn't even have bothered responding in the first place. Instead, I took the time to promptly respond to many emails and PMs and give the facts and advice the best I could offer. I could have ignored attempts to contact me and "cashed the check" and walked away from my basically meaningless 72 postcount (by the way, I do have much more feedback on several sites not including eBay aswell).

At any rate, I am very tired of repeating myself. I have sent an email claim form to UPS and they "will attempt to reach the buyer within 3 days". I will do what they ask and comply fully with any requests for info. If they will not grant a claim (due to improper handling at the buyer's end), then this issue is over as far as I'm concerned. If they do send me a check, I will happily give it to the buyer (as long as I have the amp, of course). I will not waste any more of anybody's time (mine or yours) on this untill there is news from UPS.

    I'm finished.

    and then read this.....
    dylanblada wrote:
The best I'm willing to offer you (Chris) is a refund on the shipping, so say $75. That's my best to bury the hatchet and end this mess. The buyer and the seller can both begin a claim at UPS, clearly shown on their site. By the way, if it had been packed as Chis wanted it, shipping/handling would have been about doubled. I have alsot 300 feedback on eBay over the last 5 years and have shipped many, more fragile items similiarly without issue. UPS was obviously careless with this particualar package. So, I can refund the $75, take it or leave it.
    Thanks,
    Dylan

Not only is that ****...to change from his horrible packing job to one worthy of that amp would have added maybe 5 to 10 pounds ...since when does adding that small amount double a $75 dollar shipping charge. Please

That also proves Chris explained to him how to correctly package the amp...and he ignored him completely.

I believe if Chris/Steve provides PayPal all of these emails and posts from this clown, its refund time for sure from Paypal .
