There I fixed it for you.:D

Don't think so. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from a Top-10 school.

Cost four year BSME degree in 1988.... $20K.
Starting salary for an engineer in 1989.... $30K
    Ratio: 1.5

    College costs now....
Cost of four year BSME degree in 2008... $125K.
Starting salary for an engineer in 2008.... $55K.
    Ratio: 0.44

Not sure college is worth it anymore. The cost of college has gone up way faster than the starting salaries.

Not sure college is worth it anymore? Give me the starting salary of an engineer without a 4 year degree and just a high school diploma...it's going to be pretty close to $0k, giving you a ratio 0.00.

Seriously, where on earth do you think up stupid comments like that? Grow a brain.

Well if that is true, why be a union worker? Is the BS, BS or is it the brain washing the socialists have done to you.

I'm just stating the obvious.... technical fields are suffering from ever decreasing wages. Now, we have to compete with the engineering wage structure in India.

I'm not a union worker. I'm jealous of the union (UAW) engineers at Chrysler that make 1.5 time on any work over 40 hours and double-time on Sunday. I get a straight wage for all hours worked - whether its weekend or not.

Is this one of those "Because Sona told me so" things ?
No fair ! You have to at least give me a hint !!

Well, why I'm pondering that stumper, perhaps a little musical interlude will help me think; let's see, what do we have here .......

I don't know, maybe a little Iggy Pop ? Yeah, that sounds good.

    "You never know at all"

....Oh, sorry, you kind of caught me singing along there at the end.

Well ..... what was the question again ?

P.S. I apologize for Iggy Pop exposing his **** in such a provacative fashion.
I've written to David Letterman, NBC, the Chairman of the FCC, Condeleza Rice,
and Santa demanding that all communications over the airwaves cease and desist
immediately, and that I shall **** in my pants hourly until my demands are met.
