I probably have under 10% body fat right now. I'd like to lose a little more and gain a little more muscle. Maybe get up to 175.

    205lbs and losing
    29 yrs

I'm eating a little less, playing more soccer and doing some training for a Grand Canyon hike in November. I think around 190-195 would be a comfortable weight that's pretty easy to maintain. 185 or less would be nice, but I think my ****, thighs, and belly are just to big for that to happen short of starving myself and getting back to high school levels of activity.

    245lbs.

I'm back to the gym and usually level off for a period of time as the muscle mass builds. I need to lose it around the gut though. A guesstimate would be for me to get down to around 225lbs to be lean.
    No excuses!

A good book to synch your workouts with eating is "Body for Life", by the dude that runs EAS sports supplements.

I read it while having a nice smoke.

Worked great for my son, though.

5' 10" and 180lbs , 54 yrs old. I've lost close to 25lbs in the past year and a half since retiring. I weighed close to 215 at the height of my gym years. I think 180 is a good weight for me.

As of now until a higher post, I guess I’m the forum Chunky Monkey. I’d like to be 200 again.

    “I’m unhappy because I eat, and I eat because I’m unhappy, It’s a vicious cycle… pffft “ - Fat ****

A month after the birth of my son, I shot up to 282, which if I remember from the Sopranos, that's how much Tony weighed. So now I get an idea just what I looked like. However, in one month of eating 5 small meals per day and doing cardio\lifting 3-4 times per week, I weighed in this morning at 260. I have a long way to go but I'm feeling 100% better.

    6' 220 @ 34

My goal would be to get back into working out and weigh 220 pounds with a lot of muscle rather than fat like now. I've been on a 5 year working out break since my kids are 7 and 5.

I’ve been 220 for a good 10 years now. When I was a teamster in the UPS hub for 5 years in college, working out 4 times a week I weighed 205 pounds (while huffing packages like aerobics for 4 hours mon-Fri). When I quit that job and went into computers, I bounced up to 220 almost immediately and have been there ever since independent of how much I work out.

I’ve dropped 5 pounds before in a month by doing nothing more then not drinking anything but water (except beer).

If I stopped drinking beer, I would probably lose 10 pounds but I don’t want to :P

Yes I know I'm unhealthy, thanks. 2 surgeries last year killed me(no gym for 1.5 years) so I rejoined the gym this past week. My goal needs to be met by September.

2 month update after 2 monthes of the gym.....weight is flucuating between 242-247 depending on the time of the day :)

However, I went from being able to lift only 130ish pounds on the bench a couple of times up to now 230 pounds and I think I can push more, gonna try this week. Also, I could barely do 15 minutes on the elliptical machine with 1/20 resistance now im doing 7/20 resistance for 25 minutes with no problems.

Not to mention pants size went down a notch and now I gotta punch holes in some of my belts so they fit better.

I guess I'll keep trying to shed the pounds but if the pants sizes are going down and I feel better/healthier about myself, then F#(@ it.

Yeah, weight is nowhere near as important as fat percentage or general overall health, sounds like you're doing well (that'sa huge leap in bench weight in two months btw).
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
