Club Polk's Official Weigh-in Thread

I thought with all this talk about working out and healthy diets lately, why not have a thread for recording your body weight and goal of hitting it. Since about 90% or above of us are guys, we shouldn't be shy about stating our current weight.

I use a digital scale at work to weigh myself, and always the same one. I recommend that you stick to one scale to get an accurate weight, as different ones could give slightly different results.

I weighed in at 214lbs yesterday. My target weight is probably between 200-210lbs. I know I have to lose about 5 more lbs around my waist to chisel those abs... but extra muscle obviously weighs more so that is ok as well, since I've been hitting the gym extra hard lately...

So I'll start:

Current Weight: 214lbs
Target Weight: ~ 205lbs
Goal: Lose 5-7lbs in midsection of body; continue tone of upper and lower body

I'm 5'10", weigh in at about 192. I'd like to get it down to 175-180, obviously with a higher muscle to fat ratio.

I started up the morning work-out routine again this morning, so hopefully I can stick to it. My diet's actually not bad aside from the occasional slob-out days, so I think if I can just stick with my current diet and work out regularly the goal is attainable.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I couldn't put muscle mass on my type of frame if I tried. Just a naturally lanky person. Tone and lean is the best I can do.

    Target: 160lbs

Need to gain 14lbs by, oh, at least middle age. I'm sure it won't be hard :)

I need to get back on my bike and do some serious riding. I need to rebuild the muscle mass in my legs, and figure out how I want to maintain what I built in my arms while I was working at the carpet mill. I've noticed it's already deteriorating :(

Need lots of calories to put on size. When I use to bulk up, I'd consume at least 6K calories a day. Usually consisting off chicken, tuna, brown rice, sweet potatoes, vegatables, and a high calorie weight gainer potein mix of some sort(Cytosport muscle milk).

For faster gains, add a little vitamin S.;)

I take Whey protein as well. Lifting is a process that takes months to see great results, but different people build muscle differently. Some fast, some slow. I happen to be lucky enough to put on the beef quickly. But also the fat. When I slacked off for a year, about a year ago, I put on about 10 pounds of fat. Now THAT is hard to lose! Ha.
