I don't know the difference between SDA generations or the good tweeters vs. bad tweeters or good price vs. bad price, but here are some of those old big polks.

That’s a fair price for those SDA’s . Look in excellent shape. Walnut wood trim just like mine.
Someone near by with an understanding significant other should make the jump!
I love mine. Will never part with them.
    Good luck. D

Is this a good price? Or just average? Thank you.

From ad: "MIT Terminator 2 Speaker Cables 8ft with MIT MI-330 and Terminator 4 interconnects all in excellent condition."

These have been re-listed at the same price $350.00.
Just asking about them, any experiences? Price good or just fair?
I'm using MIT Exp's for speakers now, would these be a substantial upgrade?

Don't have experience with those exact cables but they are in the lineage of later shotgun series. My first MIT's were the Exp's that everyone on CP bought when MIT dumped a boatload of mislabled B Stock years ago. I still use them in secondary systems but I've since moved from EXP to S3 and S1 in my 2 main rigs. My educated opinion is yes, they will most likely be better. Don't know if $350 is good or not. Judging from the fact that there has got to be 7 or more years of dust on the blinds but what appears to be not one ounce of dust on that gear? I would venture to say that it's hot.

It's also coming from an area of town that's....well....."shady" would be a good way to put it. Not so shady that you wouldn't want to be around at night but it in an area with "unsavory" characters.

    No Affil.

Ad says Nova 7's. I think these are Nova 8's..

These may be the later Radio Shack version of their Optimus 5B's
which were a pretty good copy of KLH Model 5's.

Acoustic suspension, really a pretty decent speaker from the mid 1970's.

The tweeter and two midranges were mounted in cups.

EDIT: Actually the Optimus 5b came after the Nova 8 I've now discovered.
