I'm sure they did. $20K probably. I know a lot of old JBL pro monitors (blue stuff) hit the market a few years back in Vegas. Either the Riviera closed or they updated the entire system. I dont remember exactly. When they did someone made some money on it. A lot of that gear was oem and worth a lot of money. Especially in Japan.
I love that JBL blue! I have a lot of coworkers that go to swap meets and estate auctions. I've told them if they ever see a JBL logo on a blue speaker to buy it or at least text me. -

This is also a good deal for a sigII. if it hasn't been re-capped yet, it might need it. A lot of folks just leave the last channel off and bi amp with this type of amp.

I would go find out for that price. Ditch the cabinet and radio, make a custom stand/wrap for the amps, sell the drivers if they are good and look to see if there is a hidden gem with the tubes.

@aprazer402 , if the are in good condition i think the price it about right. As long as everything works. Those ribbons can get really expensive. I've heard a pair once on some Musical Fidelity amps and they were pretty "Amazing". They have a brilliance I have not heard before.

These are my old RTA11T with 194 tweeters. They are part of the package I traded him for the Infinity RSII. They really are in great condition. I think you could beat him up a bit on price.

I'd love to have a pair. Just none local and not in the cards as I just came into some new Vintage Infinitys and new amp. But if a deal popped up local I might work a little OT or sell some body parts to make them mine. -

Some of the best imaging speakers I have heard in my travels use very little crossover components. There has GOT to be more than this though for a 3 way. Interesting design.
