I know there are fans of the show here. Starts up again on January 14th. It's the only network show I don't miss. Can't wait!

24 has been getting shittier by the season though. I just hope season six is as good as the first season.
The people need to start getting tired and hungry again like season 1.

Can't wait for this season to begin. Watching the trailers gets me Jacked!!!! :rolleyes: I agree that the last two seasons have left a lot of holes and are not as good as past seasons, but IMO it's still the most ebtertaining and innovative show on TV.
This season of 24 and The Shield..........If you don't watch The Shield, rent the first five seasons and watch it this year (on Fx).Shawn

Speaking of Season 5, I just got it for Christmas. Is there any reason I should watch Season 5 before the beginning of Season 6? So far the Seasons seem to be pretty independent. I just do not want to mess up and miss something.Holydoc (Home Theatre Lover)

Yeah, you should try to watch it, although if you've seen the previews you probably already figured out what happened.
While they're independant of one another, characters die, get fired, etc. in every season. You may really want to watch season 5 for that reason alone. -
Yeah, quite a few characters were killed off in Season 5, and the end of the season was definitely pretty pertinent (although it seems from previews it gets resolved pretty handily).
Plus, every season there's at least one "return character" from the previous season, and while it's not crucial that you know their backstory it definitely increases your understanding of everything.If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
You have to watch Season 5. This way you will understand where Jack is coming from, how he got there and why he was put there.........Don't want to spoil anything. Definitely watch it..............you'll be glad you did.

I was reading on-line somewhere that Keifer Sutherland was going to kill off Jack Bauer this season and stay on as a producer / director. I think all the hype in the previews saying "Jack Bauer must die........" is pretty corny, but I have faith in the writers. Apparently, they've signed on for at least four more seasons............Shawn
