He must be hurting for cash. The "underdog wins" theme is a little played out.

    "What's that from, the '80s?"
    "That's probably the '70s."

I'll definitely watch it. I also think they're pushing their luck, stretching the limits of how far one story can go, but I'll still watch it. May even buy a whole set one day. Whenever they stop making these movies, lol.

Oh my goodness. I suppose the sequel will be digging Rocky out of his grave to fight Muhammad Ali.

I predict a box office bomb (unless it's pitched as a comedy). Even worse, it's probably a low budget flick.

MGM wanted to only spend $10 million, but Stallone "held out" until they raised the budget to "$10 - $15 million".

The sequel to this gem will have Rocky in a wheelchair, jousting against other competitors with cattle prods.

Wait a second, I think I have a preview for that:

At the end of this one, they cryogenically freeze Rocky, then thaw him out in the future for Rocky VII.

The studio will get its money back, so it's not much of a risk for them. probably be an embarassment for Stallone, but his career was over 15 years ago.

I thought that was stupid too especially when they implied that that was the reason he couldnt spar.....so theyre going to make him a power hitter. Now wouldnt that mean that he's going to be hitting harder....thus hurting his hands more?

The one good line was from Pauly when Rocky tells him he's thinking about fighting again. "What? You think you havent peaked yet?"

Don't anybody lie to themselves... we'll ALL end up seeing this at some point in our lives. Might as well accept this and move on:D

Eventually Spike TV will get and show it 3 times a day for a two week period just like they do with Shawshank Redemption and Roadhouse.

Get it over with and see it.

And I can pretty much guarantee that at least 50% of us will enjoy it, but only about 3% will admit to it.

I find it physically impossible not to watch a Rocky movie if it's on the television.

Check out the reviews, they are all very promising. 77% on Rotten tomatoes is pretty damn good for any movie, since the average is usually around 45% - 50%.
