Very nice Studio 100's! Which version (3, 4, or 5)? Never heard them personally, but heard great things about that line.

V3's indeed! I've always wanted a pair of Paradigm Studio's and they were too cheap to pass up, i'm really enjoying them so far. They image very well, are dead neutral and have a huge soundstage! They don't exactly blend in with the nice wall mounted flat screen but oh well.

I've admired the studio 100's(all versions) for years, have always heard wonderful reviews on them, they look gorgeous!

Those birds can't possibly understand how close Thanksgiving dinner is!

Great picture. We even have similar "herds" of wild turkeys down here on the NH seacoast this year.

from the archives -- when my son first got his first DSLR (a Nikon D40*), he humored me by - at my request - taking some photos of vacuum tubes doing... well... what they do. I've shown most of his photos from that session many times before, but I don't think I've ever posted this one.

This is a Sovtek 2A3 -- very different internal structure to the Chinese 2A3 tubes.

We got it fixed by Nikon for $120 or something like that... as of today it's still going strong and lives at my house with a long lens on it in the front hall closet -- always ready to grab for wildlife shots. Most of the critter shots posted to this thread (since 2012 at least) were taken with the aforementioned D40.

    Ugh! :(

Not to be confused with "Uggs," though a pair of Uggs might be useful if you really felt the urge to walk in that mess of Legos.

    I've gotta say...

    the phrase "UGGs for Legos"

...packs a lotta "g's" in a small lexicographical space.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
