Captured this little slice of life out back a couple of days ago.
The ruby-throated hummingbird on the feeder is a female. The other one (with the... umm... ruby throat) is a male.

Just switching it up once in a while for fun.
Little edit while I've been listening to these tonight, I really do like these Kappas. They tonally get beat by the Rosso's, I find the Kappas a little hollow in the midrange. So -- my wife (and our daughter, perhaps not coincidentally) don't like spiders very much. When either of them gets... you know... funny upon seeing a spider, and hints broadly that she'd like to see the arachnid dispatched to... umm... a better place, I always like to point out that "Spiders are our friends!"

I encountered this behemoth lovely lady (or gentleman, perhaps) in the garage when I went out there to put on my waterproof shoes and wade out in the evening dew to fetch the hummingbird feeders last night.
Sorry there's nothing in the photo to give a sense of scale. Her wingspan, so to speak, was about 2 inches.
