That there is funny. I have a aunt who lives in New Haven Conn on Winchester Ave. They have drive by shootings weekly. Her husband has a scooter when he isn't in his Mercedes. He finds it easy to travel in the city. I go & visit like a dumb a$$ with no clue as to city life there. I walk those streets like it was the safest place on earth. They look at me & laugh & call me the crazy guy from up north. I just like people of all types. We are all different & all good people. I'd have a vehicle like you'd see on Mad MaxRandy/Maine ..RTA15TL-Cs1000p

Randy,
You and I seem to visit the same places. About 1979 to 1983, I went to New Haven several times to a bank's headquarters downtown New Haven. At that time, the hotels were awful and downtown area awful too. It was a scary place; I mean no disrespect to anyone living there. I did find the people were great, and I was taken to several historical restaurants and private clubs that originated in the late 1800's. Getting to New Haven was not fun driving from LaGuardia Airport up I-95. The rental cars at LaGuardia were always the dirtiest and worst cars. New Haven rivaled Stamford Connecticut at the time as not a good place to visit, and I did visit Stamford too for several days on two occasions.

This almost rises to the level of an atrocity.

I thought this was bad with those ridiculous wheels.

Here we go with the silly wheels again.

Heck, I could live with the exhausts -- but, yeah, the wheels are just wrong.
Of course, I also remember a long-ago cartoon in Road & Track showing two young-ish fellows standing in front of a Bugatti Royale. One car fancier said to the other.Imagine spoiling a great old car like that with those grotty mag wheels!

You know what that car needs?
A Continental kit.
That's what it needs.
