I purchased one of these last night. It is the most I've ever spent on a guitar, and I'm super excited to get it in my hands on Wednesday.

Thank you! It is a limited edition model, and Fender used one of its most loved vintage colors for it (sonic blue).

This guitar was made for me , the action after Sweetwater's setup is perfect (medium to low, with zero fret buzz)! The slick compound radius neck feels better to my hands than anything I have owned, as it should being the most expensively and USA MADE Tele I have owned in my life. And OH THOSE PICKUPS!! It has a Twisted Tele neck, and Broadcaster bridge pickups from the Custom Shop.... B)

Unfortumately, I found some cosmetic imperfections in the finish, and I am returning it to try another of the 2 they have remaining.

I pray that I can get a good one, because I am in love with this guitar....

Speaking of in love, after buying the new Low Rider nearly 3 months ago, I was finally able to go get it and ride it home yesterday. I have logged 250 miles on it in 2 days.

Like the new Tele was made for me, so was this bike. All I can say is, sometimes size really does matter (103 cu in)... ;)

Here is a photo I took in the driveway this afternoon before starting my personalization. It is the last photo that will be taken of the bike in its stock form...

My mother brought me this photo of me yesterday when she took me to pick up the new bike. It was from 1987 or 1988, so I was 24-25. I have been taking great care of myself for the past 4 years, and I feel nearly as good now as I did then. Life is good!!

Mark, I saw my first bobcat this week! I had no idea there were bobcats in southern Indiana. I tried to get a picture, but it ran off. It was NOT comfortable around humans like the deer are. It was eating the guts out of a small deer. I looked out the window and saw something bright red and got the binoculars.

They're generally pretty leery of humans (bobcats, that is) -- they're making a comeback, methinks.

I grew up in Bedford, IN, in the 1940s-1960s, and I never saw a bobcat or heard of anybody seeing one -- that despite numerous uncles and aunts who owned farms in the Lawrence, Orange, and Washington Counties.

How about wild turkeys? Have you seen any in your area of southern Indiana? We have many in New Hampshire, as mhardy6647 will attest, but I never saw one in Indiana.

    Moose,

Family member is up by Monticello, IN. Lots and lots of wild turkeys this year up north way.

Used to see a bunch in rural Tippecanoe county..

Heck, even the populated burbs of Chicago has wild turkeys. Wheaton has tons of them. Some Bobcat sightings in my neck of the woods but never saw one myself. I think competition from all the darn Coyotes keep them at bay.

Love the wildlife though, brings a sense of serenity to the fast paced world which we live in.
