    I'm here....just watching the show.

I'm getting stoked for the event. Promises to be another stellar event. Got a few surprises in store.

Just as an FYI, Friday night, for those that want to stop in before heading downtown.....we'll have some beverages and Frogmore Stew etc available for those that wish to come by.

Keep the magic trick in your shorts until sundown.

Is Frogmore Stew like sort of creamy Jambalaya or Kermit vs. the windshield?

    Frogmore stew is:

shrimp, smoked sausage, corn on cob, red potatoes boiled in an Old Bay/beer/lemon broth. The broth is drained completely before serving and served with an optional garlic/wine/butter sauce.

The term Frogmore has nothing to do with Kermit and his relatives. It's a small community near Beaufort SC where the concoction was supposedly first come up with. Also called a Lowcountry Boil...

cool, I am down bigtime for the stew, on a related subject, I have been dilgently practicing my tattooing outside the Shed on the backyard pine tree and know that when the skin is stretched it's the best time to colorize, so anyone who wants one just let me know. I only have one needle so best to be first.

Don't worry, after the too', you dont have to do anything weird like walk around holding the inside of my pocket, unless you want to.

Mmm, Frogmore Stew is good. When we go down to Hilton Head every September, one of the stops we always have to make is Steamers in Beaufort.

Not very consistently good, but still, it's almost become a tradition to go to Steamers.

Unfortunately, though, I've missed out on HH altogether the last two years due to school. :(

Oh, there will be a great deal of appropriate approval grunts through the musical crescendo's, in the dark of course with closed eyes. No need to be skeered, we take extra meds during this event.

Anyone interested in listening to a pair of DT BP 2000's? These were the top of the line model a few years ago and have plenty of focus on music. Doro suggested Def Tech was a good HT speaker when I first inquired for op's a few months back, but I don't know if he has heard these. With proper setup, these are very nice 2 channel speaks. The hardest part is reigning in the bass.

I have really just taken the time to do some critical listening using Spyro Gyra since the SDA's are down, and these are very musical speakers. They are so easy on the ears and just plain pleasing with very little fatique. Don't have the soundstage of the Polks, but very SMOOTH. These are better, it seems, than the current offerings. Assuming Troy D is interested and will help move them in his truck...They are available for the Fest.
