Anyone interested in eating out at one of our fine dining establishments on Friday should let me know. I will have to check ahead of time to make certain **** chaps are allowed. I do know of one place with blue lights and techno music inside that probably welcomes such attire....:D

Charleston is a culinary destination and I would bet Troy D's Sunfire pre-amp:) that one won't find a city this size anywhere with more awesome places to eat. Kind of like the old New Orleans but smaller and without the nudie bars...Oh, and drinking is confined to the indoors. If you're looking for a dive, I might not be the right person....There is a place owned by a friend down the road from Troy's that will cook a burger to order (rare, etc) as they hand grind the beef. All kinds of funky burgers to be had. I believe **** chaps are perfectly fine there.

Take all the boys to The Library Troy. I may have gotten the name wrong. You know the place I'm talking about. It's the rooftop place with the nice view of the city and harbor area. One never knows what could occur there. It was Gail's favorite stop whenever we came down. You do the math on her and that affection. She broke the code on it very quickly, and definitely wanted to go back the second time we came down. Oh yeah, she's definitely a millionaire now. Maybe a multi-millionaire on paper. All that real estate.

George, that place is still there but they built some multi-million dollar condos in front of the main view of the harbour. If you were here a year or so ago, it was already present. If you really want to go somewhere nice, let me know.

I won't be attending, and when I'm in Chucktown and I want to go somewhere nice, I just go to BDT's. Wendi's there.

It wasn't the view anyway, it was more the "ambience".

George, agreed. Cool spot. Disney Joe, I will be in attendance. Perhaps you can make a ceiling fan housecall. I got bright lights on at 12:00 a.m. two nights ago.... The A.C. did not come on and wasn't running, nor did I hear the compressor cut off, so I can't figure out what is causing the problema.

Is anyone bringing a tube CDP there to sell?

If so, you might not go home with it.

And if you are, please let me know about it via email.

For your camera, go with the Sandisk Ultra II. They always scored the highest in read/write tests with my D70. Since your Rebel is close to that model, go with them. I'm going to jump up to the Sandisk Extreme III cards late this year due to their faster read/write speeds that my D200 can take advantage of (and it needs). The D70 and Rebel can't write any faster than the Ultra II's.

I won't be getting rid of the Ultra II's though.
