Glad you made it safe and sound. Maybe you could find a picture of Matt on the internet and print it out at a copy place and then he could sign that. Or have him sign one of your butt cheeks....I'd wait to ask him after the tour at the end of the day. That way if you get thrown out for dropping trou you won't miss the tour....just a thought :p

You all keep an eye on doro, he has a fetish for shrubs and may make a break for any around the front of polk H.Q. :D I am really lost that I could not make it up to see old freinds and make some new but ther will be other opportunitys down the road to meet again.

I will toast a few later to you all and sit back and dig some tunes on the thrift store 10b's I picked up yesterday. Give matt a hand shake for me and tell him I hope to meet him down the road if it is in the cards to do so. I guess somtimes things are just not meant to be for whatever reason.

    Cheers fellas,

Assuming Mr. Waldecker is in fact serious as a heart attack, I'd just like to say dibs on any Polkie's XRT12 that doesn't plan on using it and is going to, uh, pass their savings along. I'll pay shipping! :)

Thanks for the update! He is top notch. He bought his first pair of SDA's from me. I drove three hours one way to deliver them.

Noel had at least a 9 or 10 hour drive in the wee hours to get there. Have a round for us homies!

Yes, it is true, XRt12s were given out to everyone.
I was wondering why there was a big pallet of XM tuner just hanging out in the warehouse this week.... :)

It was great meeting the handful of Polkies I got to see today. Unfortunately, this was definitely my most busy day this past week, and it seemed stuff kept piling on during the day. I didn't even get a chance to demo the SRT setup or finally get a good listen to the finalized Surround Bar.

For those who didn't make it, I'm sure there will be tons of photos. I saw quite a few people snapping away.

Ah, you beat me to it. Yes, I would like to be second in line for any Polkie not wanting, or already has the Polk XM tuner.

It was a complete surprise to me, also. And signed by Mr. Polk himself. How do you like that? A Signature Reference Sattelite tuner. You ain't gettin' one of them at BB or CC, ladies and gentleman.

You know, this is really unbelievable on so many levels. We are part of the "familly". ALL of us.

There are some REALLY nifty ideas bouncing around in there. They have stuff coming out in the very near future that IMHO is gonna set a whole new standard. WAY COOL.

    Tomorrow is coming. more later...

I can't believe no-one mentioned the free SRT systems they handed out to all the participants. I guess the XM tuner is newer and more exciting. Too bad everyone didn't attend... :)

    Oh yea, a FYI here,
I've been with XM for quite some time in the car. Think about it for a little while before subscribing. (nothing to you W Waldecker, just got to thinking about it). They often drop the initial fee price for registering if you do it over the internet vs over the phone. The real important one is that if you register for 3 years they offer it for $9.99 per month rather than $13 a month but there is a catch, you have to pay it up front. It pays off by $36 a year though. Believe me, after you find out what is offered you will want it forever.

Edit: And yes, Polk is totally cool! Can you think of any company anywhere that cares that much for their customers? I can't. Add to that their total dedication to their product, not to mention their total commitment to offer great products that are affordible, not to mention that sound really great. Definitely a first class act.

Hey Guys its RT1, Bear is letting me use his puter, anyway, had to say the goo machine was really cool, its builds prototypes, and the goo, well its only 60,000 a barrel. Just a little more than gas!!!.

Looking forward to the Doro Bash, many of the Polk staff are attending and of course we have a great turnout by the forum. Matt Polk has promised us candid answers (especially after he has had some libations) rumour is the basement is full of gear and Polk Paul has sent some special "items". It has just been an awesome day.
