Nuns at a Catholic school, too.

I grew up in a Catholic neighborhood and heard tales of some of the Sisters with the wooden ruler across the knuckles.

No joke, I can certainly speak from experience. Our nuns had a metal golden ruler, thick too. You think they broke your hand when they smacked your knuckles. I think todays CIA got much of their torture policies from the Catholic church.

Yeah, definitely not. The book/TV show "Under the Banner of Heaven" sheds some light on some unsavoury history as well.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

My friend in Spain, Michael Fuzzbuzz, had a red bike similar to that, but not as fancy. I traded him one day for a little while on my little AMF Gold Fever. The trade didn't last long once I realized I couldn't jump the ramp very well on Michael Fuzzbuzz's bike. I also really couldn't build up enough speed to do a tough skid in front of girls, who didn't seem to care either way. Michael Fuzzbuzz had really tall fluffy blonde hair. He probably still goes by that name.

    Bikes were freedom!
