Perhaps the real crime here is using MQA.

Fun fact: Tidal lets you create infinite free trials using the same credit card. I've not paid for Tidal in 2 years but have always had an account lol.

Publicly admitting to what amounts as a modern form of music piracy, and knowingly violating the terms of Tidal's EULA? Classy.

I did read the EULA to avoid breaking any laws up here in maple syrup land and it never specifically stated this was against it so long as the account details are accurate to me (they are) and that each account only receives one trial period.

If they fix the loophole then I'd be glad to pay for it, but this is perfectly allowed from everything I've read.

I agree on Spotify quality, and their user interface. I've built my 'library' there, and don't plan to leave it. And, yes, if I want hi-res, I rip a CD to FLAC, or download a hi-res file from HDTracks, or elsewhere.

Fwiw, there's apps to transfer your Playlist to all streaming platforms

Ok, now I know for sure you are a liar and talking out of your ****, because NOBODY reads EULAs.

Do you have any self awareness whatsoever to see that you're effectively shitting on the very artists that you're streaming for free? You're a clown.

I'm sure the artists get paid the same measly pennies per stream whether the subscriber is on a free trial or not. He's just eating away at a certain budget code for promotions within the Tidal corporation. Most big artists make a bulk of their money from touring these days.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Actually, if you subscribe to the highest tier, tidal gives your most played artist $2.. Doesn't sound like much but I'm sure it adds up over all the users.

Either way, abusing free trials is lame
