POLK Magfi Mini - Turns off when volume is changed

Hi,
Every-time I change the volume on my magfi mini it turns off. The problem persists whether I connect via bluetooth or via Aux-in, the later is what I mostly use. I do not use Optical Audio or HDMI/ARC or chromecast so not sure if the problem occurs with those inputs too.
I have tried re-setting, using the power/volume button reset procedure I have read on some forum, but nothing helped! I did write an email to customer service, but nothing come off it either.
If you guys have found a solution, please let me know.

It would be best to send an email to: Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com and give him your name, address, telephone number and the sounder's serial number. Let him know that you have the MagniFi Mini that I referred to him.

This is happening to me too now! Unit was purchased on Nov 24. 2 weeks later, I have this problem. Happening every time!
When the volume is changed (up or down), either from the Polk remote, the TV remote, or the hardware buttons on the soundbar... output sound is dead. Only can be restored by:
1) power cycling the soundbar
2) changing soundbar inputs away from existing TV input and back -

Edit: more specifically, after looking into this a bit more, this issue seems to be triggered when you "enable voice control and more" in the device settings in Google Home and also when you enable Playback sounds (Cast start and volume changes) there. If I don't enable those, I don't have a problem with the volume.
