I have a guy looking at my sub amp for the eosones, looks like it may be back in action just in time for the meet or at least I hope so. My shadow may be tagging along guys, so if he is full of questions please give him your ear. If he does come with me I cannot wait to see the expession on his face when he hears the 2.3's, I know it will be priceless.:D Personally I cannot wait to demo the amazings and if they still sound like I think they do I may be at the pawn shop when I get back workin a deal.

Oh yeah, some poeple have the best luck, guy dad works with picked up a mid sized pair of maggies at a yard sale for one franklin over the weekend. I told him to tell him I would give him his money back for them.:D Never hurts to ask...eh?

Just a thought, but do you think it's really a good idea to bring a child? I mean there's going to cussing, farting, smoking, drinking, sheep, LOUD music and who knows what.

Pretty much everyday life in TN...:D

On a more serious note, I think Jesse has a point.

I don't want to speak for our gracious host (on top of stealing his EQ list), but I read way back in the thread when Sid was looking to attend, that Saturday would be fine, but Friday night might not be such a good idea.

If TXPFII is any indicator, and why it would not be, I don't know, the above is pretty much on target...
    More later,

Well, as long as everyone knows what's going on up front, I'm not going to exclude anyone (except for liv4fam and spyderman).

I, for one, will NOT be doing shots Friday night. I don't want to puke on someones gear (especially mine) on Saturday. :D

Actually, Bruce, I appreciate you putting the list together, I'd been meaning to do it and just never got around to doing it. :D

DAGLJAM, (Dave) came over last night and dropped off some speakers and CD's. REAL nice guy. He'll fit right in with the rest of us psychos. Dave is welcome here anytime.

    Sean,

No problemo, man, but you'll have to provide a trailer for the small furry critters. PM me a phone number, and we'll arrange something. I will be taking I95, Hopefully your going to be close to it.

While your at it, send me an address, and I'll see about something better if you can't meet me on 95. Basically, I'll call you when I'm an hour or so away, or something similar. I'll have room, but no kinky kinky w/ the speakers or so help me you'll ride the friggin' luggage rack.

Anything else that I can do to make things smoother for those travelling in, just let me know.

How 'bout some demure Asian washy washy girls with happy ending, in the rooms for the "bachelors"??? It would sure help to relax after a long and stressful trip.

No? Jeez!!!! Sean, you'd better bring more small furry critters!!!:D

PS- I am in Central PA.... we'll see about the next east coast meet when my dad gets the new house built. Hopefully by next spring. Should have a decent basement to hook some gear up in. Unfortunately, it's not *my* personal house, but I might be able to convince him to rent out the basement for a weekend :-)

    Brett,

It is about 5 hours from my house to Charleston, not to Troy's - and the Charlotte airport is about 45min-1 hour from my house...

So you can figure that out...

Heck if you want to you can stop by here on your way down there...haha

From here, I can be in downtown Charlotte in less than three hours.

I can be in Raleigh, NC in 5.

Not sure where Sid is in relation to all that.

    Sean,

Sleep with your BIC at the ready in one hand. There may yet be an unannounced second place prize for a civilian reaching outer space.

As long as you don't wake up with your shorts on backwards and a quarter in your hand, things will be fine.

Had a nice visit with Troy and his wife last night. After unloading some speakers I got preview of the Amazings and Polks.....
Those of you coming this weekend are in for a treat!
Also if chatting for a couple of hours is any indication then you'll also be treated to some real "Southern hospitality" as well.
To everyone travelling.... have a safe trip.....to those not attending well let's just hope the pictures do the weekend justice.

BTW Troy the rest of the gear is ready so tomorrow (Weds.) I'll give you a call.

I'm also bringing a couple more things:

    PS Audio Juice Bar
    Sennheiser HD-580 w/ Cardas Interconnect

Bright Star Audio - "Ultimate Isolation" Setup for the SACD/CD/Etc. (Air Bladder/Sand Box/Weight)
