I will officially throw my hat into the ring for attending. Sorry for the late committal Troy. Until I had things settled with work (keeping my job) I wasn't sure it was a viable option.

I'll show up sometime Friday evening and will be staying at the Holiday Inn off of Northwood.......The only rooms they had avail were 2 queens or 2 kings, so if anyone's needing a place, I have availability there.....

I guess I can't really show up if I don't know exactly where you live....lol.

    I'm flying into Raleigh........help?

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? Leaving openings like this alone, is not getting in the spirit of the event...

I'm leaving the stuff I asked about behind, but I am bringing Russ.

Also going to bring those "new, funky.... speaker wires" (and a bunch of waiver forms as I will not be held responsible for any Eq damage)...

    Gotta pack... later.
    More later,

Make sure Russ brings his Beano, or I'll have to get me some pickled eggs and Ballantine to defend myself!!!

Well, on the bright side, I've decided to stop calling it the wedding reception but rather "The Drink Your **** Face Off EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!!! Brought to you by the celebration of John and Emily gettin' hitched!"

Kinda long and complicated but I think it gets the message across.

The only thing it's missing is nekkid chicks but given the circumstances, I think it would be bad form.

Oh, and it's not the distance, it's the lack of good timing involved.

    John,

All a matter of perspective. On the one hand, you could say you are going to miss a good time here and on some levels, you'd be right. However, considering what you are doing on Saturday, you ain't missing a thing, bro.

My best wishes to you and yours.

Troy, the better half is making the trip with and my son will also most likely be making the trip with as well. As far as the issues with language, drinking and farting....well....he's a pro at the gas end of things and as far as the other issues go he has a couple of uncles that are like that just about all the time, so it couldn't possibly get any worse than it already is.

We should be in around 6 and hope that we will not be any later than that. Do have one question, are the mon. 7's that are listed assumed to be the ones that I have? If so I will see if I have room to bring them but one cab. has some real nasty cosmetic issues on the corners but does not hurt performance at all. Picked up a little something at the pawn shop that I am bringing as a piece of bonus gear, scored an adcom gfa 535 for cheap.

    Later,
    Mike

    John,

Troy put it right, man. You have more important things to do. Enjoy your day, and come to the next one!! Besides, I don't think the New Mrs. Jstas would know how to take Russ. You kinda have to ease her into that kinda thing...

    Hey Mike,

If it's no problem for you, it's no problem for me so that's cool.

No, the Mon 7's are RuSsMaN's so no need to bring 'em

    See you tommorow!

Well it's not lookin like the one sub amp is going to be finished in time for the meet, so I guess it will up to the one towers sub to do the dirty work. I'm sorta bummed as I was hoping to have them both in full working order for their demo....Oh well. Like I said they still sound pretty damn immpressive even with just one working.

Lookin foward to meeting all of you and hope to have rippin good time. I am also going to bring the monster z1's to play around with, so far I have been impressed with them. See you guys soon.

    Cheers,
    Mike

    Hmmmmmmm....

There are a couple of foot long frankfurters missing from the fridge and I KNOW that I didn't cook any.

The cat seems unusually skittish this morning....

Hey you ****'s, Mark and I are just passing King's Dominion after sitting in a 2 mile backup caused by some dump truck driving fool hitting a bridge overpass. Anyway, we're rolling again....doing 80 and pushing on. More updates to follow.
